First time seeing a pink lake and it is something pretty magical and beautiful about it. Though the wind is unbelievably strong that day.

Great stop on a road trip.

31 Dec 2023 - amazing view! Depending on the lake conditions, it's possibly better to see the lake from northern viewpoint (which I'm writing the review about) than the main southern end viewpoint. Also you can easily walk into the middle of the lake by the pathway crossing the lake.

Amazing pink lake. Nice hidden spot with very few people. We got here in mid Dec after a big rain. Weather is the key for colors.

This lake is the main reason I hired a car and didn't get the bus. So stunning to see coming around the bend.

Amazing hidden place. It’s only 1.5hrs drive from Adelaide. You can walk on the salt if they have settled.

The pictures were taken in mid August. My friends said the lake looks much more beautiful and pinker now than the summer when it’s too dry with a much smaller lake.

Rode through just as the sun was coming up and the Moon going down... and there was a Loch Ness Monster :)

Beautiful salt flats! Shame we lost a drone there lol but that doesn't take away from how beautiful this place is. Fantastic place to stop and break the monotony of highway driving

Nice little town with rest rooms and picnic table. Was cool to visit with the lake Monster and not to busy. Was a fun experience overall

Great little stop heading up north, public toilets available opposite the road

This is actually the better spot because of the elevation. The lake appears pink and purple, not the faint pink at the nearby lookout.

As pretty as a picture. Only downside would be gramers hogging up the place for dat insta fame.

Beautiful area even when the lake is dried up. Got some stunning shots with camera and with the drone. Breathtaking under clear blue skies. Would love to come back at sunset in the future!

It's a nice lake to view while you're on your way, heading north from Adelaide. Nice to stop by for a 10 minute stop and enjoy the natural pinkish hue of the lake. However, it looked quite drier than the last time I visited it.
