Best shopping experience! I wanted to shop in 10 minutes & Sam delivered - I was looking for a wetsuit, he identified the perfect one straight off, told me I am a different size to what I thought I was, helped me try it on & rang it up all in that time. AND it had pink trim, my fave colour, without me even asking for that. Fits like a glove. Thanks Sam.

Great staff. For a complete novice who would like to surf but has no idea, they were extremely helpful and straight with their advice. Nice fellas too. Price was great. Good place.

They might be located a long way from the nearest set, but Zak Surfboards at Thornbury are really making waves. On this, our first visit, the impeccable service was matched in surf and board expertise. This is a classy well appointed and well stocked surf store. Thanks to the ace Sunday afternoon guy who looked after us (and Bunny).

I brought in several damaged boards and was impressed by the shop's team who offered fantastic repair options. It's great to see people going the extra mile to help out.......very cool boards and accessories too!

Outstanding service! Found myself in a pickle needing to bring a board back to Sydney on evening flight and cover not suitable. A quick call to Zac, and Tanas sorted out the problem within minutes, even going the extra mile to get the new cover to me in person as I was caught up at an all day event. Legend! 🤙🏽😊

It’s an hour away from my place but anytime I need a repair I always make the trip, just top quality repairs for a decent price.

Am only a couple of years into surfing and could not ask for a better place to go to. In a time where lifelong surfers seem a little agitated about new people taking it up, the staff at Zak's are kind and generous with their time and support, which is comforting.

For example, I recently ordered a board and the wrong one came in. Damian and Sam spent a heap of time with me discussing the right option and let me keep and use the 'wrong board' while the new one was made. I am still overwhelmed by this service. They are just good humans, which is nice to encounter. Thanks guys - I will no doubt be back soon, either to spend more cash fixing a ding, or trying to learn more from you!

I'm clueless about surfing, but needed help picking a gift for Christmas, recieved plenty of suggestions and was in and out super efficiently, team is very friendly and knowledgeable!

Visited Zac's on behalf of a friend who is looking 4 another board . The Chap who served me was terrific 2 deal with. Asked 4 photos 📸 2 be sent 2 me of the Board l was interested in . No problem. 11 decent photos arrived in decent time frame. Back down 2 check this 2nd hand board out with my mate this Tuesday. ( he's away ) This Shop is a GR8 DEN 4 surfing 🏄‍♂ 🌊 Dudes . Great experience purchasing my second board. Walked in expecting to buy what I had picked out but left with the right board tailored to my level of fitness and skill. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely love their service! I bought my first surfboard from them as well as two other wet suits and have become completely hooked. Every time I have been in their store they have given me excellent personalized advice for my level of experience. Basically they have a customer for life. :)

Great surf shop! Huge range and great customer service. Purchased a locally shaped Zak Ringmaster (large fish) for a very reasonable price. Board goes great, paddles easily into waves and very stable pop up, glides well but doesn't have the bully feeling of a long board. Very happy all round.

I had a good experience when purchasing my first board. After explaining my skill level in detail, I was shown a selection of boards that would suit me best. They gave me a range of options from beginner friendly to beginner-intermediate that I could grow into. I opted for the latter and am very happy with my purchase. Thanks for the help Zak's crew.
