Top pub with good value meals and good drink prices. Fabulous happy waitress who knows all about service.Want to thank the pub for helping us out with food sales after I left our food for the houseboat at home.Very impressed with their service and help.

Amazing service. Staying the weekend at the river and still wanted to watch our footy team play. This pub more than acommadated our needs. Amazing friendly service, great food. Always support your locals. Not 5 stars, 10!

Pleasant staff, good food a nice mushroom gravy too. I'm probably being picky but I'd love to have a greater range of some local craft beers available even Coopers XPA would be a step in the right direction. Would see me spending more money in future.

Couldn’t believe this isolated little pub in this small town had so many vego options! It was so great to order a classic pub meal, from the friendly staff, and sit and eat in this scenic and quiet location! An equivalent pub in NSW normally only has chips as an option (my home town ~3000 people, recently removed their only vego option, a burger, from the menu :( ). Am not sure if all SA pubs have such a diverse menu - but was super super impressed for our first SA pub experience!

Perfect classic country pub

Called into this cute hotel for lunch en route to Barmera! Always enjoy it! Good food, friendly service, good wine list. We ate on the verandah with a view of the river

Excellent service and meals were fresh and really good quality. Dianne sauce was spot on. Can sit inside or outside good view of the Murray from the deck outside.

Amazingly cooked Medium Rare Surf and Turf. Awesome view with some peace and quiet. Only stars 🌟 🤩 ✨ 💖

This lovely local pub provided perfect service, perfect food. We had home made WoodOven Pizza’s cooked to perfect. Highly recommend stopping in for a feed!

Brilliant old pub great service, friendly people. Meals are very nice good prices and lovely, love the pepper gravy. Always have different meal specials nice spot check it out if passing through.

We didn't stop for a meal but wanted a nice place to see and enjoy a cold drink. The walk up from the river was a bit of a steep incline but if my 94 year old dad could do it, then anyone can.

It was so nice to see the history of the place incorporated into the building and each new generation adding to the splendor. The pubs history goes back to the 1850s with a continuous unbroken line of publicans.

There are quite a few different places you can sit and enjoy your meal or a quiet drink in comfort.

Drinks were reasonably priced, meals looked ok however, the bartender who took meal orders, don't know if he was new or what but couldn't answer questions regarding the menu. Then again it could have been a new menu and adjusting to the change.

For a mid week there was a steady stream of customers so the place must be doing something right.

I would definitely recommend visiting the place as it offers one of the best views for Blanchetown. Next time we will definitely stay for lunch

Women2Wheels arranged a motorcycle ride to Blanchetown. A nice quaint old hotel. Service was quick. Great food. Helpful staff.

Excellent customer service and a really relaxed feel to the place. Food was nice and served very quickly. Staff and locals very welcoming and the outside decking area was a beautiful place to dine with a great view of the mighty Murray River as well as an abundance of birdlife. Highly recommend this venue for travellers just stopping in for a quick meal or any groups that are staying in town.

Met up with others here as a halfway point. A bit cold to sit out on the decking for some but it looked nice. Inside it was clean and tidy including the toilets. Meals were all enjoyed and was there was plenty on everyone's plate. It was nice to find bowls of water out for dogs.

We just stopped in for a beer on our drive back to the Riverland from Adelaide. Beer was nice and fresh and staff friendly. We didn't eat so can't comment on food. Good location and we will be back as it beats a stop at the petrol station!

Always good service, good food. Come here regularly now that we've bought a shack in the area and will definately be back! Great place for families.

An amazing meal! The staff were friendly and helpful. Even gave us doggie bag for leftovers!! 100% recommend this place for an awesome family night out!
