Attended Medico Estetica for the first time today, and had the pleasure of meeting Dr Frank and his team. I was made to feel welcome & comfortable - from the first phone interaction with the lovely & witty Amy through to the treatment itself with Dr Frank. Big thank you to Frank, Amy, Danielle & Alaina for their professionalism and very friendly service. I can see why M.E is in high demand. I came to Dr. Frank for help with my nose. I had been suffering for years. Struggling to breathe through both nostrils and waking up with panic attacks because of it. Eventually I was sleeping on a huge elevated pillow and was feeling very depressed and like it would never be fixed. I had been to an ENT who diagnosed me with enlarged turbinates and basically said I would have to have surgery and/or be on Nasonex for the rest of my life. When I had my consult with Dr. Frank he was so empathetic, like no Western doctor I've ever encountered. He was patient and actually listened to my questions and concerns about my condition and the treatment options. I was so fed up with my condition that I cried for most of the session and Dr. Frank was just so lovely about it and made me feel very in control of my own treatment. I got the HayTox treatment, not going to lie that it was pleasant, but it's not that bad either. Unfortunately, I got next to no results from that treatment. But I had non-allergic rhinitis, so it wasn't a sure thing that HayTox would be the treatment for me anyway. I was pretty upset it didn't work though. Following this, Dr. Frank and Nurse Kate set me up with Capsicum Nasal Spray. This treatment was also not pleasant and more prolonged but IT WORKED!! It has taken a few months to fully feel how much of a change it has made for me but it really fixed it! I can sleep normally again, exercise normally, breathe normally and I don't even really get hayfever anymore! I'm leaving this super long review so that if anyone with nose issues reads this desperately at 2am and is on the fence about this place - go for it! They are really something special! No more need for surgery for me!! Thanks Dr. Frank and team - truly extremely grateful!

Dr Frank and his team are absolutely amazing. I was suffering with extreme hayfever symptoms for many years. That was up until 4 years ago I came into Dr Frank and he assessed me and fully understood how bad my hay fever was and treated me with his haytox treatment and within a few days of treatment I was waking up without even the slightest of symptoms. Without this treatment my life would be very restricted during the extreme hayfever season.

I was a big victim of hay fever before this treatment!!
Incessant sneezes, swollen eyes, swollen nose etc.
One day I decided to give this treatment a go after hearing about it through word of mouth.
After about a week, I virtually had no hay fever symptoms in mid Spring..
It's been a lifesaver for the past year and I can confirm that you can't put a price on the amount it has changed my quality of life.

I had the Haytox treatment, and can’t recommend it enough!
I have always suffered with bad hay fever and allergies, to the point that i would get sinus infections, migraines, unable to breathe and face aches on a regular basis. It became normal to have to take days off work, impacting my life in a very negative way. Doctors and specialists always just suggested some new spray or tablets, which never worked for me, leaving me disheartened, dismissed and a little poorer for the experience.
I first heard about Dr Frank and Haytox treatment on the TV, and after some research, I decided to give it a try. My mum also suffering in a similar way jumped on board with the idea, we decided that even if it didn’t work, we would at least have a girls trip to Melbourne for a few days of shopping.
Mum and I flew from Brisbane in February 2020, into a freezing cold rainy day in Melbourne, hopped onto a train, and made our way to see Dr Frank. We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff . To our surprise we were asked a lot of questions about our allergies and symptoms, this is more than I’ve ever been asked before by any doctor, this gave me some hope that someone might actually listen and understand.
Dr Frank went through our forms, asked questions, and really seemed to understand our issues. When he said we were good candidates for the treatment, I was excited and gave me hope.
We both completed our Haytox treatment, we left the clinic feeling hopeful.

Initially after treatment I was congested, but this cleared a bit later in the day. The following day I woke up and could actually breathe through my nose for the first time in years! This was the start of a new way of life for me! I now live without allergy medicine and no I no longer live with pain and discomfort.
I just went back to Dr Frank for a refresher treatment as I had just started to notice a few symptoms coming back, this was about a year after my first treatment. I will no longer suffer, as I know a trip to see Dr Frank will give me my quality of life back.
Again I was greeted warmly, they remembered me, and treat you with respect, they are very professional and friendly staff at the clinic.

I had the haytox treatment in the height of spring and have always suffered with hay fever - running nose, itchy eyes and rashes. The impact of the treatment was almost instant - took maybe two days to go from sneezing and feeling generally crumby every day, to having no irritation in the nose whatsoever. We do hay carting about anywhere up to 1000 bales each new years and this year I was able to do it without wearing a mask for the first time ever. I believe the treatment even reduced the severity of the rash that followed given the hay rubs up against you the whole day!

I first heard about Dr Frank in 2019 on a news program. After some research I decided to make an appointment and give it a try. I flew from Brisbane for the appointment. It was a life changing experience for me, no longer did I suffer from face aches, black eyes and complete congestion instead I could breathe, smell and live a better life. Twelve months on I have just been back for another treatment as I had noticed that I was starting to get my symptoms back. I look forward to having more time free of my sinus and hay fever and enjoying life to the full. The staff and Dr Frank are just the best and treat you like a person not just a number. I have battled severe rhinitis for many years. I have been prescribed every medication available and had two sinus operations but did not get much relief. My symptoms left me with constant severe inflammation, sinus infections, headache, and nausea.
I have been mostly housebound for the last 10 years to avoid contact with pollens that make me worse. I was taking high doses of prednisolone and anti-biotics every day just to survive.
In December last year I was referred to Dr Frank Barbagallo. After an hour long, full medical assessment Dr Frank treated me with his Haytox medication. After about 4 weeks I estimated a 35 percent improvement. So, at my next appointment Dr Frank gave me another dose of Haytox. After another few weeks I felt a further improvement to at least 50% better.
Then Dr Frank gave me a course of his capsaicin spray, which took me to at least 70 percent better.
After this he gave me an antibacterial spray which has further improved my symptoms. I can honestly say that this is the best I have felt after 26 years of feeling chronically unwell. I can now go outside and live a much more normal life. I am almost weaned off the prednisolone and antibiotics. His treatments have been life changing for me.

I was suffering from allergic and non allergic rhinitis. I woke up with mucus every morning and would be coughing it out for at least half an hour each morning. It was so uncomfortable and tried everything before I was recommend to Dr Frank at Medico Estetica. Dr Frank sat with me for at least an hour to go through my history and symptoms which instantly made me feel better about the procedure as most specialists or doctors I had seen would prescribe me with something after only a 10 minute consult. After the Haytox Procedure I instantly felt at least 50-60% relief which was enough for me however Dr Frank recommended a nasal spray that might help with the non allergic rhinitis. It definitely did help my symptoms and now feeling at least 80% better. Couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend if you suffer from any type of allergy.

I had my first treatment in November, 2019 and didn’t need another until a month ago.
No more sticky, itchy eyes and mouth or uncontrollable sneezing. I was taking a double dose of over the counter meds and they were not working. Before seeing Dr Frank and going to another medical place, I had lost all confidence that these so called experts had no idea what they were doing or talking about. To them it’s all about you getting in and getting out, without the caring attitude.

Finally I decided to try Dr Frank and I knew straight away that he actually held an interest in wanting to help. When I lose weight, my Jowels just hang like a blood hound. So I usually put the weight back on so that it doesn’t hang anymore. Dr Frank spent the time explaining my options and what he felt would be best for my circumstances.

Since going to Dr Frank and feeling that profhilo would be my best bet, I can’t believe the difference in my face. Dr Frank’s Botox treatment for hayfever has changed my life. I was a chronic sufferer and not just in Spring but most of the year and after one treatment I got 10 months relief. I went from sneezing, coughing, scratching my eyes and ears like crazy and having a constant headache and feeling exhausted to feeling like a new person within 10 days. I’ve just had another treatment after 10 months as some mild symptoms began to show again. This treatment has also made my partners life better because I’m not feeling miserable anymore and I sleep heaps better and as a result he does too. I feel like it’s also excellent value for money compared to buying medication and nasal sprays that never really worked.

For the first 5 days after having the hay fever treatment back in early November my hay fever actually became worse than ever. I am delighted to advise that on day 6 which was November 10 or 11 my hay fever cleared up almost instantly. It has been amazing ever since. Even on some of the worst days imaginable with strong northerly winds it has been great. I am still taking my nasal spray but have reduced most of the other medications down to zero.

Mowing the grass which was previously a nightmare has been totally fine.

I was recommended to try the haytox treatment from a friend. Although hesitant & skeptical at first, I have been very impressed by the results. I am a long-term hay fever sufferer particularly over the period from October through to February. Since having the treatment I have had absolutely no hay fever effects. This treatment has allowed me to carry on with my normal outdoor lifestyle without need for any other hay fever medication. I would normally have constant watery eyes, itchy throat & constant sneezing but since the treatment I have had nothing. Dr Frank Barbagallo, What an absolute life saver! Dr Frank treated me for hay fever relief using Botox and it has been by far one of the best decisions I've made. I was extremely anxious to get this done as I've never used botox before and also wasn't sure if it was going to be successful .Dr Frank did the most thorough consultation and explained absolutely everything I needed to know from why we experience hay fever, body's reactions and what the treatment would entail. Dr Frank s clinic is spotless and professional and immediately I knew I was in good hands with a person with very in depth knowledge. The treatment was not painful however a little uncomfortable but the results were BRILLIANT. I went from feeling constantly drowsy ,heavy faced and drained and taking all kinds of anti histamines Zyrtec, clarentyne and so many more nasal sprays to taking and using absolutely nothing Since. I have suffered with hayfever for as long as I remember. The tablets, nasal sprays and injections do absolutely nothing for me. My wife persuaded me to give "hayfever botox" a go.
