I wasn't planning on getting drunk but you can't really blame me knowing that this place serves some dope Korean Fried Chicken. But I probably should've sticked with beer instead of escalating to soju, then to soju bombs which led to a ruthless kareoke night. I thought I was familiar with all the top tier KFC joints so I was surprised how underrated OK Chicken was after my visit. Hidden in an alley in CBD, it gives off that 'if you know, you know' vibe which I love. Kinda makes you delusional by getting you to think it's your 'special secret place' when it really isn't LOL.

My memory's a bit hazy but I do remember thinking everything I ate that night was quite tasty and the portion size was big enough to feed a village. We grabbed Triple Half Chicken Platter ($48.8) and Tteok-Bokki Hot Pot ($31.8). Chicken platter comes with a salad, chips, pickled radish, and rice cake skewers. We chose Soy Garlic, Sweet & Spicy, and Onion Mayo flavours out of all the other ones. I loved how they didn't cheap out on the sauce - absolutely flavourful. Not to mention, the chicken was crispy and tender. And just look at the way it's presented! Just alluring.

I usually get disappointed when I order Tteok-Bokki because most places overcharge. SoI liked how the Tteok-Bokki here tried to justify its price by adding multiple different ingredients. Props to that. I also want to point out how friendly and accomodating the manager was. OK Chicken is my new go-to KFC joint in Melbourne!

Delicious fried chicken platter (hot and sweet chicken, original fried chicken, side chips, cabbage, radish, sauce). We also tried pork chilli which was so so good. Really good food loved it.

The restaurant serves a wide variety of Korean cuisine including Korean fried chicken, (boned, boneless, original, soy sauce, sweet chilli, spicy cheese), Mussel tteokbokki, Beef tteokbokki, bibimbap, kimchi stew, soju, etc. The price is reasonable and the food tastes delicious. Delicious chicken and sides, well priced, good indoor and outdoor seating options. Nice Soju and beers also. Friendly and helpful service. Great location just off Swanston st. Dinner for 2 with leftovers to take home cost us $75.

Simply one of the the best Korean fried chicken places around. Very generous portions of the chicken plate that comes with teobboki, fries, marinated water crescent and extra sauces. Probably enough for 2-3 for sharing. A little hard to find, since it is deep inside an alleyway, but google maps helps😊The cheese and egg roll is great too.

10/10 ambiance. $3 happy hour beers. $33.90 "whole" chicken. Would eat again.

Renamed to "OK Chicken"...Can't beat the fried chicken here, and such great value with extra sides included! Being BYO is another bonus.

Welcoming and friendly staff every time I’ve walked in to the restaurant. We were there for lunch during weekdays and ordered fried sweet soy chicken to share between three people. Totally mouth watering as I’m writing this review, the chicken was so crispy and crunchy on the outside but moist and juicy on the inside. Korean fried chicken is something that you can’t never say no to and keep on biting into it. Having spicy tofu soup with the chicken was a plus too as it would rinse away any grease in your mouth and balance it out.

Now 'OK (Original Korean) Chicken'. Went for lunch and had the lunchtime box meal, where you can have a main (bulgogi or boneless fried chicken), salad and side for just under 13 bucks. Healthy portion size and decent tasting food. Will definitely be back
