Restaway Holiday Units

We had the best stay at Restaway. The proprietors were so friendly, so helpful and with amazing knowledge of cafes, restaurants and tourist atractions. Our party was 2 motorcycles and a vehicle and we were made most welcome. Pool is beautiful and BBQ area clean, accessible and comfortable surroundings. We will go back if only just to have a beer with the lovely owners.

Excellent, exceptionally clean, comfortable, great setting on the Ovens river. Friendly hosts, plenty of space. Enjoyed our couple of days.

Had a great stay here recently with the family. The rooms were super clean and we were able to make meals in and had a great size fridge.

Electric blankets were lovely in winter.

Great location which is quiet. It was only a short drive to bright. The owners are super lovely and helpful.

Hubby loved that the golf course if just up the road.

A lovely place to stay right on the doorstop of Mt Buffalo. The unit was large and well equipped, clean and comfortable. The owners were absolutely lovely and I’d be very happy to stay here again. Great value.

We stayed at Restaway for 4 nights and had a fantastic time! The room was 10/10 clean and was perfect for our needs. Beautiful private gardens with river access for walks and fishing. So close to Bright and everything we wanted to do for the weekend. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks for a great holiday!

We regularly stay here for a week in summer, and the rooms are always clean and well maintained, and have all the necessities. The outdoor area, pool and barbecue are well maintained and tidy. The new owners have maintained the high standard. Its in a great spot that’s quiet and close to bright.

Lovely hosts and very accommodating for our trailer we had with us. Set in a picturesque area with very clean units. We appreciated the BBQ and table tennis areas. It is so good to have a bed that doesn't slope in the middle! Although off a main road, it is in a 60km area and very quiet, especially at night. We can't wait to come back.

We booked restaway for the Brighter days festival, So happy with the room that we have re booked for next year. New owners were super friendly and kind, room was 10/10 clean and homely. Bed was comfy, room was warm overnight and very quiet. Little piece of paradise. Great job guys 😀, thank you!

Well appointed units! Spacious, comfortable, and clean. Highly recommended when you are looking for a great family friendly holiday place to stay! The owner is amazing and you will have a great stay. Be sure to book direct or call them directly!

Rooms are very clean and modern amenities, location is convenient (only 5mins to Bright centre) and the view out the back of our unit is amazing! You can also enjoy the view with a table and chairs or use the BBQ/pool here.

Last minute booking after procrastinating over doing Alpine Classic. So glad we were able to get a unit here. Clean, freshly updated, quiet and friendly owners.

Excellent accommodation close to Bright. Rooms are spotless and a good size. The kitchenette has stove top, microwave and large fridge. Good sized bathroom with separate toilet. The pool was clean. Would happily stay hear again.

We booked a 4 person unit for a night just after the end of the ski season because we were attending an event in Bright the following morning. We left Melbourne later than we were intending to, but after calling ahead, were told that it wouldn't be a problem and that even though the reception would be closed by the time we arrived, they'd leave the key in the door for us and the light on. They also allowed us to have a late check-out the following day so that we could come back after our event. Just a 10 minute drive from Bright, the location was perfect for what we needed. The unit itself was clean and modern, with things like plates, glasses, and cutlery, as well as a cooktop and a fridge/freezer. One could easily stay here for a week or two and cook your own food instead of having to eat out every night.

The owners, Leslie and Darren have done a great job with renovating their units. They are very clean and comfortable. There's an on-site laundry, playground & BBQ, it's close to Bright, and blissfully peaceful.

Great place! Our unit had mountain views. Leslie was extremely helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Shre was very knowlegeable about local atractions and where to eat. I was travelling with my aging mum who is disabled and Leslie went out of her way to ensure we had a shower chair for her to use. Appreciated the friendly service and value for money in a lovely location.

Newly renovated unit was very comfortable to stay in. Great view of snow on Mt Buffalo. The games room was very popular with our family and we skipped stones in the nearby Ovens River. Warm, hospitable manager was very helpful in changing our Wotif booking to a different date at no charge when we were delayed due to sickness. We'll definitely stay here again.

Always a great place to stay. Affordable with decent quality units, very cosy and perfectly located within distance of our favourite places. Our go-to when it comes to accomodation near Bright!
