Water Supply Specialists Colac

Water Supply Specialists did an excellent job installing a solar-powered water pump for our cattle! The pump had to lift water up a 45-metre elevation from our main dam to our top tank, across a lateral distance of about 500 metres. Jack Barclay's quote was more detailed yet more economical than other quotes from the competition. His approach was thorough and it was a pleasure working with him. The result was brilliant - we silently pump many thousands of litres a week for free! So much better than endlessly paying for petrol. What I like most about our new solar pumping system is the amount of time I save by not having to ride our ATV four or five times a week to fill the old pump's tank with petrol, and no more lugging bloody jerry-cans of fuel from Colac (20 kilometres from our farm). I highly recommend Water Supply Specialists to anyone thinking about switching to solar-powered water systems.

A couple of weeks ago we discovered our pump that provides water to all our home, had a leak. So took it to the so called “water specialists colac” for a check over as the pump was originally purchased from them. We were told that for a $48 fee their plumber will give it a thorough inspection. After about 1 hour we received a call from the company stating that the pump motor had fusion damage and will cost over $600 to fix or a new pump would cost us over $1500. We were also told that the pump had water damage in the motor and that all the wires needed to be replaced. This didn’t sit right with us as that morning the pump was working just only leaking. We went to pick up the pump to find that the plumber didn’t even test the pump, only pulled it apart and did a so called visual inspection. So we paid the $48 and took the dismantled pump to Think Water Colac. The friendly and helpful staff there did a full check and test of our pump. We were told the pump never had water damage or fusion damage and only needed new rubber washers and a $16 bearing!!!!
I highly recommend you DONT TRUST the so called Water Specialists Colac. 😡
