I go to avalon post office regularly (about 3 times a week), I post parcels all over Australia and across the world and have been doing so since 2015. The staff at this branch have gone above and beyond in assisting me with my small business. If ever I have a question or a postage issue the staff do everything they can to assist me, they are always friendly and helpful. I’ve been to branches all over the place, but the staff at the Avalon Branch are by far my favourite.

Wow what a fantastic difference to my usual experience at Avalon PO! The young woman was interested to repackage my parcel so that the final cost made it worth sending to the UK. She was pleasant and friendly. Thank you Avalon PO. BarbD

I post out daily to all over the world ad have done so for over 5 years with my business. I have found the staff helpful and sometimes under the pump due to passport applications at busy times like just before school pick-up. They have always been AOK with me.

I have visited the post office for the past 6 years for personal and work purposes. The staff have been extremely helpful and efficient. They spend time with you when needed and serve people as quickly as possible

Post Office staff at this small branch are great. Sometimes it's a bit slow, usually at peak times which is to be expected really as this lovely area is always busy in holiday peaks. Always found the staff here to be very efficient and knowledgeable, and have never experienced any rudeness here at all.

For a branch that is obviously under-staffed, they do a superb job of delivering personal customer service. They really work hard, and I appreciate their committment to delivering the best customer service time will allow.

I grew up in Avalon and everything was amazing. Returned twice today. First time massive queue and one lady serving. She was abrupt with all her customers. Second time I went-lady packing a box with bubble wrap and tape etc making it fit in-thought if it was for a customer-nope it wasn't... she could have served and then packed on bench behind her when no customers! Everyone very slow and inefficient. Lucky I live nowhere near here as I go to post at least once a day :(

The postal workers who is meant to deliver packages to our house can't be bothered to knock on our door to see if we are home; he leaves a card that has to be taken to the Post Office, causing a trip there by us and extra work by the staff at AVALON POST OFFICE. Don't send parcels by Australia Post!

Not great at taking passport photos, it seems as though the lady taking it can’t operate the camera. Better at Newport.

Absolute idiots the inborn old guy with glasses has a impaired mental disability had passport photos here worst photos ever the inborn boomer didn’t fix the lighting didn’t even show me the photo went to Newport straight after didn’t change my appearance at all they were flawless perfect! Taken in a even darker area go to Newport so much better at everything there avoid Avalon at all costs
