Bok Choy Chinese Cuisine

We had an absolutely lovely meal here last night- 12 people for an 80th. From kids to adults we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Fresh and light, with everything cooked beautifully. The room itself is well decorated and makes a meal out, a bit special and different.

I love Chinese food, and honestly, this is the best I've found in Melbourne. The food is consistently good and while it's a tad on the pricey side, the service is great and food is yum.

I usually get Chicken Fried Rice or some other kind of poultry dish. Everything I've ever had here is fantastic. Even their basic vegetarian spring rolls are really good.

The minor downsides are that parking can be tricky and you may need to park a little bit away from here (which is a pain in the butt on a rainy night). Also, yes, a little on the pricey side as I mentioned before. But honestly, if you want good food and good service, then this is definitely worth trying.

Fabulous food and great service. We ordered the banquet and each course was a generous portion. Highly recommend this place to try out.

Ate here last week and was pleasantly surprised given some unkind reviews. The portion sizes were generous and full of flavour. You can tell they use high quality meat (hence the price you pay) and real ingredients with the green vegetables cooked to perfection (not ruined like typical Chinese). The venue itself is shmick and the staff were friendly and lovely. Despite it being 9.30pm (closing time of 10pm), we didn't feel hurried out at all. We will definitely be back - cost $90 for two people, entree and main each with rice on the side.

Been here a few times over the past few years and always impeccable service. Can’t go past the Deluxe Banquet, excellent variety, well portioned and timed nicely over the evening. If you don’t want a full banquet and are after something smaller, definitely give the Duck Sung Choy Bao a go, absolutely delicious! Definitely a go-to Chinese restaurant in Melbourne, will be back again.

An absolutely delightful restaurant. Beautiful ambiance, friendly staff and owner.... and exquisite cuisine. I was thrilled with the vegetarian menu! In a word, delectable. Will be back and certainly highly recommend for quality fusion cuisine in a cozy and stylish venue.

Love this place. So much love and yummy ingredients in the food. Lovely and smiley staffs and amazing interior design. It is like a new world inside of Bok Choy!! Menu is very cute and a little bok choy is on front page. Food is very attention to detail and very much 5 star hotel quality!!!It is the best location in the middle of Brighton.

One of two go-to Chinese Restaurants in Brighton. Food is of excellent quality, and don't go past the Eye Fillet in Szechuan Sauce - has got that right bit of spice / bite to it, not overpowering but makes you say "well hello".

It is expensive but we'll worth it for a special occasion.

They have a vegetarian selection for those that don't eat meat but Into like the Beef with vegetable and soft noodles.

Downside is there is a surcharge on all credit cards including Visa and MasterCard.

They serve you the food here! No need to pick it from the lazy Susan 😜 Huge wine choices as well.

Our favourite Chinese place in Brighton. Admittedly we get take away from there more than dining in, but the food is great either way. Chiu chow chicken is a favourite and there's a wide choice of dumplings.

I have been coming to Boy Choy for many, many years and have yet to have a bad meal. The staff are always charming and the food is delectable. I'm a bit amazed at the smattering of bad reviews. My friends and I have always loved it!

Ingredients are so fresh, and portion size is surprisingly large. Their wine list was great too.
