Had the most amazing day yesterday with my family thanks to Michael, he has fantastic knowledge of wine, I certainly will be going back and recommending friends and family to partake in the wine tasting with Michael.

We forgot to get a photo with Michael so here are a couple of others!

Thank you again Michael for such a great day.

Outstanding. Has to be one of the most under rated wineries in Victoria. A great selection of wines at incredibly reasonable prices.

The Tahbilk Marsanne is a great white, far more complex than most whites but less fussy than most Chardonnays.

The Tahbilk Shiraz and Cab Savs are also great wines.

The winery itself is beautiful with magnificent old cellars. Surrounded by the river and the wetlands the whole grounds are very scenic.

The restaurant is also highly recommended.

We had a lovely Pinot Gris on the terrace of the Restaurant overlooking the river, then went to the cellar door for wine tastings and were served by Jenny who is exceptional with her knowledge of the wines and the history of the Estate. Oldest family owned vineyard in Victoria. Make sure you stop here when in the Nagambie region.

I went here mid 2023 and still think about the sweet potato chips I had from there, they were amazing. My partner and I enjoyed visiting the winery.

Fabulous cellar door. Staff knowledgeable and attentive. Food in restaurant exceptional. Views over the river relaxing and gives that true Aussie experience. Highly recommend to wine lovers and foodies.

I’m not really a winery person but loved this place! Staff are great, the Marsanne came cut absolutely delicious and the history (the underground cellars) and the staff (Katrina your a champion) made this visit very memorable.
Can access by road or boat jet ski. They also have restaurant on site with fine local foods and coffee overlooking the billabong reserve with a 6klm walking eco trail (gold coin donation) only an hour from Melbourne north.

The wines are stellar and the winery is beautiful. Michael was very knowledgeable and offered a lot of insight into the history of the winery and the characteristics of the wine. Would definitely come back.

This is the 2nd time we have been to Chateau Tabhilk this year. We managed to buy the same Muscat, must have really liked it. The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable. Wondering around the old buildings is a history lesson

We went on the 18th of May, for lunch. The staff were so lovely, and attentive. The food was delicious and the wine was divine. We ate lunch inside the beautiful and warm restaurant and had our coffees outside in the cool, and wrapped ourselves up in the blankets provided. It was such a special place. We will definitely be returning.

Today had an incredible experience at Tahbilk Winery. The picturesque vineyard setting was simply enchanting.

Michael at the cellar door impressed us with his extensive knowledge of their wines, offering spot-on recommendations. The blend of flavors, textures and profiles of the wine exceptional( better than those of Mitchelton) . The wine selection was equally impressive, showcasing their rich history.

Michael's expertise in the wine was impressive, just like his suggestion of the mushroom croquettes from the restaurant. Indeed a revelation – they were to die for! Overall, Tahbilk Winery left us with a lasting impression of delicious food, superb wines, and exceptional service.

This was our first visit to Tahbilk and we had an outstanding wine tasting and dining experience.. Our wine tasting was scheduled an hour prior to the lunch booking. We arrived on time and were given one of the outdoor tasting tables overlooking the Goulburn River. Lyn took us through a tasting of all the scheduled wines plus some extras reflecting our particular interests. There is a good range of wines. Lyn was very informative and helpful. We finished with just sufficient time to walk across to the restaurant. I particularly like the Museum Release Marsanne, the Marsanne blend and the Verdelho. Amongst the reds, I particularly liked the Museum Release Cav Sav and the Old Vines Cab Shiraz. We left with a box of wines. The lunch was excellent. Service was very timely, friendly and helpful. We loved the slow cooked lamb and the barramundi. Our table was outside with a beautiful view of the lagoon. We will definitely be back.

Had the best Cellar Door experience. Not only is the tasting complimentary, there was no pushing for a purchase. But the wines that we tasted were so amazing and reasonably priced that we ended up purchasing half a dozen. Michael who helped us with the tasting was so knowledgeable, patient and amazingly professional.
Tahbilk we will be back for another visit for sure, specially to enjoy a meal as we were too late this time.

Tahbilk was beautiful, the grounds were well kept, scenic and serene. The complimentary tastings were lovely, with an estensive collection of wines on offer. Michael was ecpescially helpful and very knowledgeable, he made the experience enjoyable even for a wine tasting novice.

A beautiful winery with stunning water views especially from the cellar door and Tahbilk Estate Restaurant. We eat there regularly and the food and wine is beautiful and the view of the surrounding Goulburn river is stunning! Big shout out to Melissa Brickwood from the Wine Club on her amazing quality of service as well. A real treasure for regional Victoria that must be experienced at least on one occasion, in our case, on many more!

My favourite winery in Australia. Michael took us through a tasting and was so friendly and helpful. He made us all feel so welcome and talked us through all the wines in such a patient and informative manner, we loved him. We’ll be back for the Friday night music gigs over January 2024!

"We had a very enjoyable lunch. The food was exquisite, the service friendly and personal, wine - a perfect match. The special occasion we were celebrating was acknowledged. We absolutely could not have asked for more. I wonder if even the ideal weather was quietly arranged by you! Thanks for a thoroughly repeatable event. Looking forward to our return in the very near future"

Love this winery! We visit once/twice year. Cellar door is great and wine tastings are led by knowledgeable staff. The restaurant is set up by the wetlands, offering lovely views and serenity. Thr food is delicious. The menu is not huge but this guarantees freshness.
My favourite wine is Marsanne.

We had a very lovely Monday afternoon at the wine cellar and tried some incredible wines! Cheese box they offered was great and the two lovely ladies guiding us through the wines were so attentive, happy and committed. They really put a smile on our faces as we left after an hour chatting. Great way to spend the afternoon and we ended up leaving with three bottles to take home plus a membership for discounted wines in the future.

Thanks, this was a great wine experience in Victoria ✨
