Beachlea Boat Hire

We had such a great time!! It was a spontaneous outing, no boat licence required and with all Rod's instructions we felt safe on the water. Rod was super helpful and friendly telling us where to go and subsequently filleted and bagged our caught goods. We'll be back for sure!!

Had an absolute blast out on the bay fishing, got a great bag of fish too which they even filleted for me. Absolutely great service and great value.
Will definitely be back when we are in the area next

Awesome small business. After an hour of fishing, my reel broke, I headed back in to go and buy another one. Rod handed me one of his so that I could go back out and catch more fish. He even cleaned the fish I caught and fed the scraps to the local pelican and seagull populations.

I Had a very good time this is really worth it if you are a beginner or a pro he will tell you all the great spots for fish I caught my first 3 squid in a spot he told me to go. Very worth it if you are a pro or a beginner

Straight off the beach, easy as you like. Took two kids fishing, they had great boats, great directions and put us right on the fish. A two hour session, 4 keepers (not pictured) and 30 fish overall. Kids loved it. Highly recommend.

Perfect little spot for the amateur boater to get into the water for a few hours of fishing at good value prices. Rod (and crew) were friendly, easy to deal with and helpful. Rod gave crystal clear instructions on boat operation and safe navigation on and off the beach and also offered sound advice on where and how to fish this part of the bay.
Heaps of bites and hooked mainly bag-able or undersized Flattys on squid. My daughter caught her first fish, a 60-70cm Banjo Shark which gave her a good fight and fright! We had an awesome few hours on the water. Highly recommend!

Old mates a true legend. First time I came was over 10 years ago. Now when I think back to good times in me life some of them are on that tinny. Legend hope to see ya soon 🤙🏿

Small aluminium dinghy. Good to get out to deeper water. Had a fun day and got some fish. They even clean the fish and my daughter feed the local pelicans.

I tried to book the family for a fishing charter i realised my son is a little young and managed to book a boat rental instead. Really glad we managed to get a booking on a Sunday on short notice and had a great day! Really good fishing advice helped us land a few keepers.

Rod is great. He is a nice friendly guy that has been in business here for years. Has a nice way to fillet flat head (bones come out and all!)

I've been to Beachlea boat hire 5 times now and had a great time every single one. Rod gives advice about what's biting and where, instructions on how to operate the boat and safety, where to avoid the rocks (close to shore) and he also sells bait. You don't need a boat licence and he expertly fillets your fish when you return......much to the waiting pelicans delight! Rod is polite, relaxed and welcoming.
Apart from the fish you may also come across seals, dolphins, seabirds and even whales. The bay is well protected weather wise, super relaxing and still in phone reception if trouble arises.
Guaranteed a fantastic time!

I’ve hired boats with Rod to take my kids out fishing. Hands down the best boat hire on the bay and even cleans your catch for you. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.
