Great place to stay. Friendly and helpful owner. Rooms are big. Showers are nice with good pressure. You can have a bath too! Cabin 2. The area is relatively quiet in a rural location just 5 mins from Lara town Central. Just a little traffic at peak times.
Cabins contain all you need for a comfortable stay. Appreciate the wifi! Would stay again.

Great space and great location. Cabin is spacious and has all you need for your stay. Dean the host is the best host I’ve ever come across, very responsive and extremely kind and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Lovely cabins very nice setting for the cabins not too far from the road but great being out away from town/city.
Really nice seeing the sunrise and stars.
Dean and his wife are very hospitable and friendly showed myself around all of the of the horses.
Yes we certainly will be coming back.

It was really clean and thay had everything in the bathroom it was not far from Melbourne and really good service

Nice, neat and comfortable rooms. Spacious and modern toilet. Lovely views. Good location - close to the beautiful Serendip Sanctuary and not too far from Geelong and the You Yang Ranges. Wonderful customer service - the owner Dean was very friendly and accommodative. Simple check-in and check-out process.

All stars for this one. Customer service was an absolute breeze. Im pretty sure I was speaking with the owner and not some robot; and he was just willing to help. I was in a hell of a position and he was able to accommodate. Would love to come back again but for whole other reasons. Although a one night stay, the style of the cabin is very roomy simple ad moder. Recommended for long and shot stays.

Highly recommend Lara Lodge as a base to explore Geelong & surrounds. Our family had a wonderful stay in clean, modern cabins. Dean is friendly & went above and beyond during our stay. Thank you so much! We will be back again!

We had two nights stay here and we really enjoyed the place. Place was really clean and tidy with all the facilities required for a enjoyable stay. Dean was very helpful and flexible . He and his family went out of the boundaries to show us their horses also for us to have a great new experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lara Lodge! We stayed in Cabins 3 & 4, they were immaculately cleaned and had everything we needed for a fabulous night away! We will definitely be staying here again!

We are a family of four with two young boys and we stayed in the one bedroom (with extra sofa bed) Lara Lodge overnight. The lodge is new, comfortable, spacious and it has a great new bathroom with bathtub and modern shower. Having Netflix on TV is a great bonus with many great movies and tv shows available. I loved the stunning view of the country surrounding the lodge. The Serendip Sanctuary which is a great place for a visit is just a short drive away and a horse/pony ride can be arranged with the hosts. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for small family and couples. The hosts are very attentive and welcoming. Thank you for the great weekend stay Dean and Alisa. We will definitely be coming back and trying the two bedroom lodge next time.

Lovely cabin, comfortable bed, good location and awesome staff very friendly. We were very comfortable staying there.

Hired this whole area out for my daughters 21st birthday and it was a massive hit!
Cabins were clean and cosy, sleeping 4 in beds and flip out couch to sleep another 2 in 1st cabin and double bed and flip out couch in 2nd cabin. owner Dean was extremely helpful and accommodating in any needs we may have needed. As all cabins weren't ready when hired we were allowed to bring caravans, swags or tents for people to sleep in. We also hired an inflatable pub for the night which was perfect for the area.
Highly recommended if your looking for somewhere to have a event that requires space this is the place u need to look at.

Lara lodge was perfect to end our holiday in Melbourne. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The owner organised us a taxi for the airport and even helped us return our rental car. We're definitely coming back !!

Clean, spacious villas in the middle of the tranquil farm. Owners very friendly, gracefully rescheduled our stay to accomodate our last minute changes due to covid isolation
