Country Delights

The service was friendly and great, even though they happened to be understaffed and couldn't make meals- their selection of pre-made food was available to be heated and it was very tasty. The location itself was a homely and accommodating respite from the rain, and had amazing art and interior design.

Delighted to discover this cafe on our way home to Swan Hill from Warrnambool.

Nice staff and lovely food in an historic building opposite a beautiful park is the perfect recipe for parents looking to stop, stretch the legs and break up a long trip.

Absolutely fantastic little spot, how customer service used to be!
Hubby went in while I sat in the car with a sleeping baby, and with all my allergies (soy, dairy, egg and gluten) the staff worked with my hub and sorted out a hot meal and were incredibly friendly. Couldn't have bent over anymore backwards and food was delicious. The flavoured iced tea is a must try!!

Wonderful and tasty food, very large meals for a reasonable price. The place was built in 1884. The owners have renovated it well. I took my parents there for lunch on Easter Saturday. Friendly staff and service. Thanks for a lovely meal. Definitely go there again.

We Went today for lunch , five of us . They were very busy as it's known by the locals as the best place to eat in town . There were lots of visitors too. Even though they were busier than flinders street station they got All the meals out quickly ,All at same time and generous serves. The staff were lovely and friendly. Be hard to find a more accommodating place to meet family and friends. Well done all the young staff there and thanks for the service. Well done to kitchen staff too who were running about cooking serving etc checking to see everyone was happy.what an asset to the town of st arnaud.

If you are travelling through St Arnaud this is a great place for a bite to eat. They also happily cater gluten free options. The lovely old building is a feast for the eyes.

Out family booked the function room for mother's 90th birthday celebrations. The catering, food and service, was fantastic. Highly recommend it even as a place to stop and have lunch while passing through town.

Our trips across central Victoria are always punctuated with a stop at Country Delights. Opposite lovely gardens with clean toilets.

Just had the roast pork lunch as I pass through town. The best roast I have ever had, with a variety of roast veggies, beetroot, onion, potato, carrot and pumpkin, accompanied with beans apple sauce and gravy, even choice piece of crackle. Every part cooked to perfection and presented so well. Such value for money. Well done James who I met after in the kitchen.

What a gem, the building oozes history. The menu is good basic food, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Drop in for a coffee and snack say hi to the staff.
