La Cochon Rose Motel

I arrived to a clean and comfortable room full of pleasing little extras.
The electric blanket was a bonus after a cool night on the motorcycle.
The little chocolates left were a pleasant surprise.

Quiet, relaxing and laid back. The staff are friendly and helpful, we stayed for a few nights and honestly were quite surprised by how peaceful it is. Definitely will be back.

Excellent little country motel. The room was sparkling clean, the mattress and pillows were super comfortable, and the room was well stocked with crockery and kitchen appliances. Right in the middle of town but set back from the road so it was very quiet. Highly recommend!

Beautiful little place. Very reasonable price and the place was incredibly clean and shiny. I liked the nice toaster, non chipped glasses and cups etc, I found it relaxing, quiet and lovely.

Tucked away from the traffic and in the centre of town.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the extra little touches like complimentary chocolates, special teas and cappuccino /Irish coffee sachets.
There is also a microwave, toaster, kettle and plates with cutlery. Very warm during the cold winter night.

Thank goodness for Linda. We were lost and tired, but she warmly took us in for the night at short notice. This place is a short drive from the Main Street - hidden at the back of the property, so it’s exceptionally peaceful. There was this real serenity in the air while we sat in the sun, sipping tea outside our room with lush foliage around us. We will certainly pop by again!

Quaint, Retro styled motel. Had a fantastic nights sleep, quiet location, really comfy beds and air con that works and is in the right place in the room.
Would definitely stay here again.
tip: had to reverse all the way out of the laneway as the turning area had vehicles, so if you can, reverse into your parking space.

Perfect little getaway room. A little old school with an abundance of little extras that other motels don't provide.

I’d give this lovely little place ten stars if I could. The owner, Linda, is lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room was a retro delight, super clean, really comfy bed, great facilities. And Storm Boy, the dog, is a little treasure. Great spot to explore the Goldfields from.

This was a find, we hadn't booked anywhere and we managed to get a room here. It is very comfortable, slept 8 hours! It is basic but it all works ! Hot water, plenty of space for luggage and extras, close to main street and quiet. Thank you Linda and Michael😊
