Kingsford Smith Ulm Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

Great new dog park with awesome views across the valley/of sunsets and of the giant trestle bridge for the trains.

There are two separate fenced in sections, each with their own agility equipment. One is a larger than the other. When the trees are more established there will be plenty of adequate shade. There is a table with chairs in an undercover area. I was very impressed to see a drinking fountain with a dog water bowl that you can flip to empty out and put fresh water in.

There is a children's playground is nearby as well.

I could not see restrooms where I was but I did not go over to the playground area.

The dog park may not be accessible by people in wheelchairs or on mobility scooters as I think the gates have similar entrance locks to pool fences. Those little knob things that are placed quite high up on the fence that you lift up to unlock. I did only use the gates that face the rail bridge though. The other end might be better.

Excellent dog park with larger dogs and small dog areas. Water fountains and park bench with a fantastic view. There are rolling hills to walk around afterwards with a concreted bike and walk park for those keen for a longer hike.
