I would highly recommend going through Gary and the team at Freedom loans when looking to purchase a house. I did not have a very good credit rating and so there were quite a few hoops to jump through but the whole team was patient and thorough and ended up getting my wife and I into the exact house we were after. My partner and I bought our dream home through Freedom Loans. We rented a house across the road from it for nearly 2 years and we fell in love with this house. We always said that if it ever came up for sale we would love to buy it, although that was just a fantasy in my own mind as we weren't in a position to be buying a house at the time and I had a previous bad credit history. When the house was listed for sale very unexpectedly, I decided to make some phone calls to find out if there was any possible way I could get a loan. After I didn't have much luck with various brokers (most lenders said no immediately and the lenders that would consider us had ridiculous interest rates and repayments I wasn't willing to agree to), I stumbled upon Freedom Loans from a Google search. I called late on a Friday afternoon and explained my situation and they said they would make some calls and find out what they could do. Gary called me back within hours with a verbal approval of consideration within the limit of my budget. While I did have money and was able to provide a generous deposit, I was working casual and had bad credit so the odds were against me. I consulted with Anthony who was fantastic the whole time. He was very prompt, always called me back and was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions and concerns I had throughout the process. Buying a home can be a long, drawn-out process but Anthony ensured that everything on their/our side was done in a very timely manner and I lost count of the amount of late night call backs and late hours he put in just for us to pull off buying this home. I did a Google search for bad credit finance and the Freedom Loans site popped up in the results. I clicked on the link, liked what I read and decoded to call at 5.45pm one Friday. I expected to get a machine and to have to leave a message, but Gary answered my call. I talked, he listened. He was reassuring and realistic. He gave me a glimmer of hope.

After filling out my application form, Anthony contacted me and went to work to find a suitable lender for me and my circumstances. He was confident it could be done even though he agreed that my credit rating was in very, very bad shape. It was Anthony who worked directly with the lender on my behalf. Thanks to Anthony’s inside knowledge of how these things proceed, I got my home loan!

I was kept up to date on my application progress throughout the process. If I had questions or concerns, all I need to do was pick up the phone. Although my credit rating was in awful shape, the team at Freedom never made me feel embarrassed.

I would highly recommend the team Mark, Gary, Anthony and Leonie as they have helped me tremendous over the last 3 weeks to help me and my family buy our first home. I was in the situation where I had gone to my bank Wedtpac who I had been a customer with for years and had a meeting with them to discuss getting a mortgage to buy our first property and they advised me what I could spend up to and we found the home that we wanted ,contracts signed and holding deposit paid I advised my bank Manager and 4 days after this I received the call that noone wants to hear "sorry we cant help your credit score is low and so is your income" let's just say I had steam coming out of my ears and then panic set in as we had subject to finance. What do you do ??? Google that's what you do and there they were Freedom Loans filled out the info and waited and wasnt long and Gary was onto it, back and forth emails, telephone calls was kept in the loop and happy to say the team got me there and we have settlement next week. The team go above and beyond and always call and email if they cant get onto you and keep you updated I have already recommended you to a friend as she is looking to get her first home and I will continue to recommend you and definitely use you in the future if I need to. From me and my family thank you we couldn't have done it without you :-)
