Ouse Roadhouse

I visited this great roadhouse in October 2022. The food was better than anything I've ever had in Australia.
Finally, I will be going back to this place in October 2024 (10 year anniversary).
I am very excited😊😊😊

Felt like our first taste of the real world coming out of the West! Brilliant take away, clean, and friendly! A welcome relief!

Ask for your food to be cooked fresh, so much better than from the bain marie.
But for a "grab and go" it is the best option in this region.

Lovely spot to break the journey, staff are friendly. The only let down, is that they really need to get themselves an espresso machine, apart from that perfect.

Always enjoy the burger with the lot and the chips are great too good clean cooking oil cheers

Very good food to be had here my favourite is steak with the lot it's very good.

Excellent service by a lovely lady whom I assume is the manager. We were craving a coffee for hours but every town we came to there was nothing open so we were really pleased to get a coffee here as well as some food to keep us going on our road trip. Very easy parking out the front.
I was thrilled too to have scored a free map of Tasmania here.

Last best 1 stop shop on way to Derwent Bridge and beyond

Always stop for egg and bacon roll heading to lakes. Last week got a piece of flake as well, finished eating it 4 ks up road and felt like turning round for another. Great place to stop

Staff were friendly. Shop looked clean and tidy with good variety of things. The food was cooked well and the coffee was good and hot!

Very well priced and they had lasagna toppers! Amazing

Honestly pretty bad flake but everything else is good.

Friendly staff, chips were tasty and the deep fried chicken kebab was just so good had to get one even though I've had 3 breakfasts.

Last stop before you find yourself in the middle of nowhere. Make sure you call in and fill up, then stock up for the long winding road.
