Megumi Sushi

Absolute favourite place in Sydney for sushi. Sushi rolls under $3 and various dishes such as karaage chicken and Japanese curry. Located inside Wynyard station, always a favourite amongst city workers.

Delicious and cheap sushi rolls - perfect if you wanna save some money while also being really hungry.

Everything is take-away and the prices are really reasonable for the amount of food.

I really enjoyed my sushi - fresh and wonderfully tasty. If I lived in Sydney this place would become a regular.

Sehr leckere Sushi Rollen.

I really liked it here. The sushi was well made and presented. The staff were nice people too.

The flavouring was there. However, I felt that it could have been a bit stronger. For example, the "spicy chicken" was the least spicy one I've ever had. If the flavouring was just a tad stronger, it will be perfect.

Excellent cheap take away for your Japanese lunch. Serving size are in good portion.
The hot food are deep fried so can be very oily.
Service is not good.
Cost extra if you want some chili powder on your chicken, but that depends on the staff serving you.

Friendly stuffs, no seat but fun to enjoy sushi roll beside the pier too. The sushi is not bad. Good choice for a quick bite

日本にもあるとは思いますが、私の地元では売ってるのを見たことがないので日本でも食べたい！

If you need to rescue your wallet and have a nuclear hunger to fill then Megumi is your saviour.
Their sushi rolls are cheap and very filling. Generally everything there is very cheap but their pre-packaged rolls are very good. So are their boxes, but it's got a lot of food and you might need some help to finish it.
The fried chicken and warm food is average though, the curries are very salty and the meat generally isn't top quality. But of course you get what you pay for.

Too much rice and too little salmon.

Half the size of a normal sushi roll and expensive. Taste is good but proportions were definitely disappointing.
