I just want to say many many thanks to Armen and his professional team! I have found lots of good quality and beautiful style lights here! Armen and his staff always quickly gave me a very professional and patient help, I have been their customer for 5 years and I really enjoy shopping in Light up Balgowlah!

Purchased a pendant here a while back. It’s great, works perfect never had a problem and the service was excellent. Just reading through some of these reviews and it’s unfortunate that there a many people out there who clearly don’t read, don’t listen and then try and blame the small businessman when things go wrong. 5 stars Armen.

This family owned and operated lighting store has an impressive selection of indoor and outdoor lighting options so you really need to seek the advice of the friendly staff who really know the ons and outs of which light is right for where. We were given several good alternates to solve our lighting dilemma but as the range is so vast we may not have found them on our own. When you visit you can also meet the resident cockatoo Charlie who is nudging 13 years old now and comes and goes to the store every day to keep an eye on things

Great service and knowledge from this store. We bought a ceiling fan/light a few months ago. Our installer was impressed with the quality and my wife returned alone to buy more. Staff again took the time to discuss room size and needs to ensure the best fans were bought. They also provided help carrying and putting items into her car. Fantastic courteous old style service. Will return again as we finish renovating our house.

Recently purchased all our lighting fixtures from Light Up and service was excellent. All prices were competitive and products were value for money. Packaging was excellent and delivery was right on time!

The most amazing part of my purchase, was the experience of friendly service by the staff. Also when i contacted them about changing couple of things in my order they did not hestiate to help rectify and the advise provided was very useful. Nothing was a problem from start to finish and they went out of their way to help me out with my purchase.

Recently completely a home renovation and purchased a number of items from this store. Was extremely pleased with the level of customer service received. I was shown prior to purchasing the items how to set them up and also shown alternative options. The delivery time was prompt and I was contacted once my order had arrived. I would recommend this store to anyone who is in search of good customer service and quality products.

I was very impressed with both the service and offer from Armen. He responded immediately to my email. He took time to communicate his thoughts and offered a deal that saved me $200 when compared to other quotes. He also was willing to have the items delivered at no extra cost. I strongly recommend both the company and Armen.

Our new living room and bedroom lighting, consisting of pendants, down-lights, up-lights and a floor lamp work wonderfully together. We are thrilled with the high quality result as well as the advice and service that were provided both in-store and during the process of getting the installation done.

From the get-go, we felt we were in capable hands with Armen and Fernanda. They have a huge range of options available in store and we could easily assess different combinations to see what would work well.

Once we'd finalised the design, the process of ordering everything and delivery went smoothly with everything completed within a couple of weeks. We worked with a recommended electrician who was able to provide us a great service as well.

We are very satisfied customers who would definitely be happy to work with Light Up Balgowlah again in the future.

Bought some lights and dealt with the owner!
A plus for any business.
He really knows his stuff when it comes to lights and spent time explaining the options.
He advised me on the type of globes I should purchase for one of the lights.
So I bought a couple of warm looking LED's and they weren't too expensive.
Everything is working great and looks sensational.
Happy with the service and the lights!!

Very pleased with the service in this store. Recently built a granny flat behind my property and came in store with the building plans. The owner took the time to sit with me and gave me friendly tips and advice on how to get the max usage out of the lighting needed. Will definitely be going back for my next project!

Have been dealing with Armen and the team at Light Up Balgowlah for a number of years now, we have purchased our light fittings from there and also recommended that our clients shop there, we’ve never had and issue with there customer service, pricing or warranty, all our customers always give us awesome feed back and thank us for the referral.

Armen has a wealth of knowledge in the lighting industry, from helping with our smaller projects to some of our more customised fit outs, nothing is an issue and delivery timing is never an issue.

Reading some of these reviews below, really shocks me, I can and will personally vouch for Light Up Balgowlah, so do my clients.

Great lighting store, best on the beaches!
Always plenty of options and stock available, huge display & range thats well set up which makes it easy to browse and select.

More than happy with the service everytime, staff are extremely helpful and friendly, always go above and beyond, more than what you would expect.
Prices are very competitive also, well worth the trip.
Parking can be hard sometimes but always well worth the trip, wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I bugged this poor store owner every year for 4 years about ceiling fans. We needed one, but I hated the look of them, so walked out empty handed. One hot day, my partner put his foot down and insisted we buy a fan. We headed back to Light Up Balgowlah. The store owner went through his range again, giving pros and cons of various fans, and upon hearing my reservations, suggested a lovely timber look fan, with pewter fitting details. It fit perfectly in our home. I subsequently discovered that he charged well below anybody else (incuding online only stores!). So happy customer here!

This store was recommended to me by a friend. The staff pointed me in the right direction and helped map out which lighting would better suit my outdoor space. Excellent staff service and great pricing. Definitely a store I will visit again.

I was here a couple of years ago and I really have my doubts about that first review. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
I was back there today and the same still applies. The lady who served me took time out to show my young daughter the pretty cockatoo in the storage area!
