Weeroona Caravan Park

Stayed there long weekend in the cottage. Nice and spacious especially with kids.our kids had so much fun. It is always a clean park when we go there, staff and management are very polite, friendly and welcoming. I would personally recommend this place to anyone looking for a good getaway. Close to the beach and river. Kids had a heap of fun fishing on the beach. The sunset was amazing to look at too..

One of the best places for camping or overnight stop if you want peace and quiet, especially out of school holidays.
Couldn't get much better, river over the road, beach out the side listening to the waves your whole stay (very soothing).
Amenities very clean & the staff are friendly.
Have stayed a few times & will definitely be back.

So peaceful, ducks, kookaburras, the sound of the ocean just over the sandhills, very quiet, toilet and shower block clean, studded with beautiful trees, even a little vege garden, pool and spa, children's playground, everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. We even did a couple of days 4WD on the beach and fishing. Heaven💕

Caravan / camping area at manning point. Great park, powered and un-powered site, level and grassed, no bindi, you can have a camp fire in the provided Fire bins, ammenities are supurb, clean and functional. Firwood can be purchased, $10 a bin from the office.

Such a gorgeous place to stay - situated between beach and river.
Beautiful flat caravan sites amongst the paper bark trees, very clean and spacious toilets / showers, washing machines and dryers, and able to walk to nearby shop.
The young lady on reception was very polite and helpful. Loved our stay here.

Awesome park and amazing friendly staff

Came in today, lady at reception was extremely nice and helpful. Made sure we got the best dry site given the recent rain. Her husband was around while we got set up, other staff were very friendly. Feels nice and secluded, privacy not an issue. Good wind breaks with trees. Looking forward to coming back in the future. Beach to the south, river to the north. Great spot for a quick trip out of Newcastle.

Great caravan park, was actually pleasing to have my phone call returned in regards to our booking, the park managers Kye and Taylor could not be more accommodating, literally coming down to our site and making sure we were fine and set up.
I would recommend Weeroona Caravan Park to anyone and we will be making it one of our regular places to stay.

I stayed at Weeroona caravan park for 4 days in October of 2022 .
Found the owners were so helpful and friendly. I would like to thank them for all there help when a family member became very I’ll and they escorted the ambulance to the camp site .
Our group are going to book around the same time every year.Very clean and a great place to stay get away,we all loved the park and highly recommend staying there.

We camped for the long weekend and had a great time. Have stayed there before and had great friendly helpful service both times. Had a fire going the whole time to get through the cold weather, firewood was readily available and very reasonably priced.
We'll be back for sure !

Nice campground with pool, laundry, clean kitchen, toilets and hot showers. Friendly helpful staff. We were given a spacious level site. Great location between river and beach. Walking distance to little shop (awesome pizzas) and bowls club

Had a fantastic stay over xmas/New year, New Management are great to deal with, Very Friendly, Helpful & Polite.
I would highly recommend staying here.
I Stayed here with my 3 dogs as well as family and we had one of the best holidays ever.

Beautiful grassed camp area, clean amenities, fishing from beach or jetty, kids love the playground and skate park. Lovely little community feel from the permanent residents of the park. Friendly new owners with a young family.

Superb fishing. We stayed in cottage number 3 for 2 nights and for the price we paid we couldn't be happier. We would recommend Weeroona to anyone who wants a cheap family holiday with good fishing both beach and estuary. We caught whiting at the beach but saw Jewfish and Salmon caught. In the river we caught Flathead 40cm, 48cm and Bream 34cm all land based. Everyone in the park were so friendly a lovely place to visit. We will be back.
