Rainbow Street Early Learning & Child Care Centre

My twin girls have been going to Rainbow Street Early Learning Centre since we moved to the area 2 years ago and absolutely love going! Every day they are excited to see their friends and the educators and come home full of news from the day. All the staff are incredibly professional and friendly and the girls have really blossomed there.
The fact that there is such low turnover is telling, and reassuring as a parent that the girls are well looked after with good continuity of care (our previous childcare had high turnover and the girls ended up very distressed). I am so happy we found RSELC and the parent community environment.

My two girls attend RSELC and love it. We've now experienced all rooms from nursery through toddlers to preschool and the educators are excellent throughout. Most of the educators have been at the centre a long time and the low staff turnover is a major plus. The low fees available as a not-for-profit centre are the icing on the cake.

Both of my kids went / are at RSELC for over 4 years. Both of them loved / love it. The teachers are experienced and caring. The facilities are good and there is a friendly atmosphere between teachers and parents. Great value, convenient opening times, easy parking and includes substantial meals and nappies. My kids couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

The daycare centre is perfectly positioned between Coogee and Randwick. It is without question the most caring and loving daycare both my sons have attended. The not for profit status of the centre creates a real community feel, where all children and parents are valued. We couldn’t recommend it higher.

My son has been going to rainbow street child care center since he was 11 months old. It was so hard to make the decision to take him when he was so young as i had to go back to work, but what made it easier is that the teachers are amazing, friendly, motherly and so understanding about our worries with leaving our children. Always took the time to talk to me when i was upset and even messaged me through the first few days with some photos to show me how happy my son was and that he had he's sleep. My son is now 3 and about to move up a class for the second time. He loves the teachers and all the interaction with them and with all the kids. All the teachers have been there for many years and are very familiar with all the children and parents and try and follow all the instructions for every child as every child has different needs. I could not recommend this child care more, if you are after a homely feel to your child's day, beautiful healthy food and a clean environment with lots of educational and fun toys then you should definitely consider this center. :)

My daughter started at rainbow street a few months ago and it has been great. The staff are friendly and caring. They were very attentive and helpful while she settled in.
Great fees too and include everything like meals and nappies. I just send her in with a change of clothes and know she'll be safe and happy

We are so pleased to have our son attending RSELC. He now loves going to daycare! We've also noticed big positive changes in his language and overall development. Staff is friendly and loving and know each child personality and interest. Facilities are clean and slowly being upgraded. We would recommend RSELC to any parent.

I definitely recommend this Child Centre. My two kids both went there for a while. They both liked it very much. The teachers are very kind, nice, patient, and compassionate. The kitchen is clean and there is a good cook.

Rainbow Street Early Learning and Child Care Centre is great. Our daughter is in the Pre-school room and loves it. All of the teachers are responsive and truly care for the kids and their development. During this time of the Covid pandemic, the staff have been fantastic and I cannot rate this centre highly enough.

Anyone looking for good affordable early education and child care centre in the Eastern Subrurbs (Randwick, Coogee, Kingsford, Maroubra) should look into Rainbow Street.

Couldn’t be happier with this day care. It’s a warm and caring environment where my kids have both thrived and developed. Affordable but with all the facilities young kids need for learning, exploration and fun including a great outdoor space. Most importantly, genuinely wonderful carers who take an interest in each unique child to bring out the best in them. I would highly recommend!

We love Rainbow Street Early Learning Centre. My daughter absolutely loves going there every day. She is in the preschool room. The educators are so caring and friendly.

My boys attend Rainbow Street and they love it. They have made lots of lovely friends and the carers are second to none. I highly recommend the center. Not only is it one of the most reasonably priced center's in the area but they also provide all food and nappies for the kids.

We've been sending our twin girls here for over a year and couldn't be happier with the choice. The staff are very friendly and competent. Our girls have fun every day and have made great friends. Would highly recommend!

May be was a good child care few years ago, but now is changed a lot to the very bad. Carol is interested only in money. When we said that we want to withdraw our child from the care, her reply in corridor was "by the policy, you have to give 4 weeks notice!". She didn't ask what was the problem and wasn't interested to resolve the issue. Staff was hugging my child while I was leaving and obviously, the child was hysterically crying. After the first day in care, I got a feedback from one of the staff that my child is not really creative. Terrible experience. Will never recommend this Child Care again.
