Best Western Plus Camperdown Suites

Such a lovely welcome when we arrived - we arrived late and the gentleman at reception waited for us to arrive which was actually past his shift finishing. He went out of his way to show us the car park and ensure our room was to our liking. Plus the next day when we checked out another lovely smiling face as the lady receptionist said cheerio! Great location, price was reasonable, super clean and quiet - very comfortable stay and would definitely stay again.

Exceptional stay.. Welcoming and customer service oriented hosts who are at the top of their game, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.
Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated with a kitchenette , plates and cutlery .Bed and pillows very comfortable and a hot shower in the ensuite.
Again the friendly Staff had a “ nothing is a problem” attitude and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Special thanks to Ryan and David.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to all and sundry when staying in Sydney.

We were fortunate enough to stay here for several weeks and are so glad that we did so! David, Ryan, Verenice, and the housekeeping manager and housekeeping staff were all so helpful and friendly while being professional. The block and apartment were very clean. We found that the neighbourhoods of Newtown and Glebe were walkable. A good cafe and organic supermarket were nearby. It was easy to get into the CBD by bus. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend these apartments and would certainly stay here again.

Very nice room. Vernice, at the front desk, was so extraordinarily nice. She helped book taxis, a shuttle back to the airport, told us of things we should do, recommended a nice little place for breakfast the next day, and even though the hotel didn't have a wake up call service, she actually came to our room the following morning to be sure we were awake when we wanted to be.

Superb location that's close to University of Sydney and a hospital. The service is awesome and wonderful. They were so nice and accommodating, and they gave us early check-in. We had such an awful flight in and were so tired. The staff at the check-in is friendly, helpful, and unassuming. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, spacious, and quiet. You can microwave, boil water for tea, iron your clothes, and use the hair dryer. There's a laundry shop nearby.

When Virgin cancelled my flight, I was allocated here for the night. The property is spotless and well located with transport options right at the door.
David was brilliant and so very helpful when I arrived with nothing but my handbag.
Close to the city I’d highly recommend this property. The rooms are also very provisioned for self catering.

Only there for a night, but it was a cosy little room that ticked all of the boxes in that regard. Opening weekend of the Easter show motel/hotel prices were inflated across town if you could find a room. The manager on duty was excellent. There was 1 room left, and upon telling her that I was there to watch the Tigers play, gave me a healthy discount, highlighting her sense of community. One clear drawback, there is no carpark, only street parking.

Rooms are small though clean and surprisingly quiet. Handy to bus transport and parking available.

The rooms were clean, the service was lovely, there was no breakfast but we could get a discount at Deus Cafe across the street.

Right in front of the hotel is a bus stop with bus services that will take you into the city so no complaints there. There's a petrol station with a convenience store just 5 mins away that you could buy some snacks from.

I love this place and will be staying here next time I'm in Sydney.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, clean rooms with decent facilities and it's close to Newtown, the CBD and public transport.

we stayed in the "Apartment with Kitchenette" room for 3 people. it was surprisingly spacious and with 2 bathrooms and a balcony! everything was clean and well looked after.
there was a queen(or king?) sized bed and a single bed. honestly the only con i can think of is the traffic noise you can hear from the side with the single bed but everything else was perfect. great value for money

This hotel supplies excellent services in terms of cleaning rooms, functional facilities, and booking shuttle buses to go to the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful. I really love this hotel and will back if I have a chance :)

Room was comfy, clean and kitchenette had everything one could need. Complimentary washing facilities was fantastic. Vernice goes above and beyond with all her duties, a true treasure. My husband and I stayed here 12 nights. It was perfect for us and we will choose to stay here again in the future. We had a deluxe room with a kitchenette and a balcony. Everything was new and clean. We appreciated the free laundry. The hotel is on a busy road on one side but noise was never an issue. We liked the location and its proximity to public transport, parks, etc. We also liked that it was a family-run hotel and that all the staff we encountered went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with my friend on the weekend and was very pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel was. The receptionist was the most lovely and helpful receptionist I've ever had.
We had a minor issue which she sorted out and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.
The bed was very comfy and the room was decent for the price. They also take the Stay and Parent NSW vouchers which makes it so affordable! The room was very clean with plenty of towels etc. Will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Best Western Suites. Great location! The room was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. Great communication, from our phone call to Ryan to book our room, to our welcome by Denise on arrival! It was all spot on! Our flight was delayed, so we arrived after reception had closed but it wasn’t a problem at all. We were met by Denise and were made feel so welcome from the minute we walked in the door. I highly recommend the Best Western Suites Camperdown! We will definitely be back!

Genuine, accommodating and helpful

All three things best western embodies. I cannot recommend this place anymore than I do already! My mum has been in and out of hospital under going two brain bypasses at the RPA. I cannot commend Ryan, Margret and the rest of the team for their service and kindness. They’ve taken such great care of my mother and have even sent well wishes to her room, wishing her best of luck on her second surgery. The genuine care and effort they put in to make sure her stay was comfortable and seamless has been so heart warming. Every greeting down to every conversation we’ve had with the staff has been so friendly and kind, with staff going above and beyond. I’ve never been so happy with a stay - all I can say is if you get the chance please give Best Western a stay.

Great hotel to stay. Reception staff was so friendly and recommended a great place for us to have dinner and coffees. Our only note was we wish it was more affordable but it was reasonable for Sydney. Clean room, good facilities, good location, comfy beds. Thank you, we will stay again on our next trip.
