I eat and drink here a lot. I love the outside patio and I love the sense of family and community that this place exudes. Last weekend I ate the Mediterranean breakfast. It was fresh and flavourful. My only complaint is that the salad was too over dressed. It was overpowering and a tad soggy. My friend had the chorizo gnocchi. He basically licked his plate so I’ll take that to mean he enjoyed it.
Coffee is sadly very average but the ambiance and friendliness of the place makes up for it.

Wow, wow, wow. The 3 of us were blown away by this restaurant. Everything gets a gigantic positive tick, from the ambience, to the lovely staff, and the piece de resistance without a doubt, the food.

Evening meal. The freshness of the produce was exceptional. Every plate was a work of art the combination of ingredients were perfectly balanced leaving an explosion of flavours.

Definitely our new top restaurant; congratulations on this fine restaurant and your exceptional chef/chefs… and staff.

Very reasonably priced, especially as ingredients are super fresh and of high quality. 10/10

Simple food done incredibly well. If you’re looking for uncomplicated delicious Greek food, give this place a try. We were lucky enough to get a table as we didn’t have a reservation and I’m glad we didn’t miss out on the feast pictured. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again for your hospitality!

This cafe-restaurant is a delightful place to visit, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. My preferred spot is the outdoor terrace, featuring a charming space facing a quiet street. I tried one of the new menu items, the Wagyu beef, and it was exceptionally tasty. The sauce was rich in flavor, and the combination with feta and slow-cooked sauce was delicious 😋. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more feta cheese. The service was attentive and friendly.

What a neighbourhood gem! Simply delicious Greek food with a relaxed vibe and friendly service. The Chef’s Menu is a great way to try a variety of items. We enjoyed our evening here - great for date night! Would also be good for families and groups. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic! I came with a big group for an evening birthday celebration, it couldn’t have been better, we were SO impressed! The Ahgora team went above and beyond to accommodate us. They laid the most beautiful table, the service was incredible, atmosphere was lovely, and not the mention the food- every dish was absolutely delicious. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ahgora in Sydney, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. In fact, it's easily the best restaurant we've tried in Sydney so far.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, making us feel right at home. Their friendly approach truly enhanced our dining experience.

I went here for my graduation lunch with my family. The service was friendly and efficient, food delicious and the atmosphere casual but intimate, if a bit too dark. They have clear dietaries on their menu too, and a decent wine list.

Highly recommend the mezze plate, gnocchi and the octopus, but other dishes were also quite good. Only criticism: while the honey glazed pork had good flavours and its mash was fantastic, the pork was a bit hard to chew.

The coffee here is also very good, whether iced, skim, non-dairy or not, everyone enjoyed their coffee.

Overall, a great local joint that caters well for small or large gatherings, sitting at a good point between casual and elevated.

5/5 for everything at this little gem of a Mediterranean style restaurant. The atmosphere is so lovely and the staff so friendly and efficient. Each table area has its own vibe and you feel so relaxed. There is a wonderful selection of quality wines and other drinks and the food is so fresh and delightfully presented. Highly recommend! 💕🐰💕

Absolutely delicious, mid-week recommendation from a friend who joined us and the two mains and two sides were more than enough between the three of us (though we squeezed in a Salmon fishcake starter and the ladies had "liquid desserts" too).

The moussaka my partner picked was surprisingly good, I usually can't stand aubergines but this was very heavy on the brisket and had a wonderful flavor.

Speaking of which, the pork belly was exquisitely seasoned, complimenting the flavor of the meat perfectly, not overbearing, just right. Some of the best belly pork I've had in a while (and I cook a great one if I do say so myself).

Cauliflower side delicious, roast taties top too.

Place itself looks lovely, well styled and loved the subdued lighting (don't let the images fool you, my phone's just good in low light), staff were wonderful, attentive without being over bearing, all in we had a great time, thought it was really well priced; food, atmosphere, service was all better than places we've paid twice as much.

The food at Ahgora is really top notch. We frequently bring friends visiting Sydney here because of how consistently good they are and the great breakfast options.

The place also has outdoor seating so if the weather permits you can always enjoy your food on the outdoor seating area.

Quick service, a delightful menu and comfortable surroundings. Every dish was superb. I'd say it's more Greek-inspired rather than traditional Greek dishes but boy were they great. The beef brisket moussaka was something special as were the salmon croquettes. We'll be back to try more!

Overall good. I ordered Falafel(10/10), Greek salad(7/10), Octopus(8/10), Lamb shoulder(8/10), Baklava(6/10). Definitely is a good restaurant for having amazing foods. Just I was expecting baklava a bit better than I hoped 😄 totally spent $140 for two people

My friends and I had the banquet for my birthday and it was delicious from start to finish. The flavours were well balanced, portions were generous, time was allowed to digest between courses. and the service was fantastic. All set In a gorgeous heritage building. It was a risk as I had never been before and it definitely paid off. Will be returning again. The octopus was a standout for me. Perfectly cooked with a scrumptious sauce. Thank you!

Good Mediterranean food and cosy vibe. The highlights were the halloumi ravioli, octopus, moussaka and chocolate lava cake. Service was friendly and food was served quickly and beautifully. However they were understaffed on the night and it was hard to get attention from the servers when we needed a water refill and to order desserts. Would recommend coming for a special occasion
