Banhyou Vietnamese Street Food

One of my favorite places in Sydney! I ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich with tofu and was not disappointed. The prices were reasonable and more importantly the food was EXCELLENT! I was very impressed by the variety of food options available. I spoke with the owner briefly and she was very kind. If you love Vietnamese food -- this place is a MUST SEE!

This is the cheapest meal you'll get in Circular Quay. $7 for a large omelette. Match this with the $2.5 beers at Mr Liquor & be entertained by the free busker music. The shop sells pies in the mornings and omelettes & dumplings at night.

Tasty food with reasonable price. BBQ chicken salad and Beef Pho are super recommended. Staffs are nice and gentle. Like it.

Going to give a 5 after reading other reviews and the owners response.
The large was smaller and had a less dominant flavour than traditional pho however the location has seen the shop adapt to their surroundings. The result of this change being a fresh and flavoursome soup, tender shredded beef and an unbeatable location. Rice paper rolls were large, fresh and delicious.

5/5 Absolutely Amazing - the Vietnamese food here is of exceptionally high quality and fresh produce. I loved the Chicken BBQ Banh Mi. If you want the best quality/fresh Vietnamese food in the CBD come here. I have been to countless takeaways and am extremely picky when it comes to quality foods and rate this place high for quality consistency and friendly service! Do not forget to add the lemongrass beef rice paper roll :)

My office needed catering for a series of events. We needed a very quick turnaround on the first order (less than 24 hours) and Banhyou came to the rescue (when competitors wouldn't!)

Their hand rolls are jam-packed full of flavour and fillings. Our event attendees love them and so does the office. Couldn't recommend them more :)

friendly and fast customer service. rolls are delicious - highly recommend the bbq chicken. also has good vegetarian choices like tofu & avo served in rice paper rolls and banh mi. not a fan of the raw onions but will just ask service not to put in next time. other than that, great eatery and worth the price considering its location

It is not authentically Viet food but it’s reasonably good.
Basically they have mayo, pate, soy sauce (my favorite pate in Sydney - I heard it was homemade), onion, shallot, coriander, pickle cucumber, pickle carrots, lettuce. They have optional chilli or chilli sauce. I prefer chilli for the fresh taste. It is really burning though 🥵
Feel free to asked them to put extra or remove any veggies at the counter cause I did that way they did it for free! Once I asked when they were making my roll already and they looked a bit messed up though.
The soup was good. I liked the way it was. However, my boyfriend preferred to put extra hoisin sauce. Maybe the soup is not strong flavoured enough for some people.

Working in the area I've come to buy lunch here quite often, the food is amazing and I can quite easily say the vegetable spring rolls are the best I've ever ha. Will keep coming back for great food and friendly service

The food is fresh. BBQ pork vermicelli and beef pho are my favorites. Great healthy lunch option.

Last night, I have visited this place, and all i can say is lovely food, really delicious pho especially on winter tho, also the girl and the boy was really friendly.

Very good food with affordable prices with huge serving. Definately better than other restaurants you see when walking from circular quay to opera house and prices there are ridiculous.
