At Thai Cuisine (ร้านกินปลา)

We have been eating at this place for years now (previously located in the food court in Chinatown). We usually come for the steamed fish but like trying other dishes too ! This is one of the best place in the area, food is so tasty and very affordable, the owner is so sweet, it’s always a pleasure to have a chat with him 💕 Happy to see that he’s upgraded and in a better location business wise ! So happy that covid didn’t stop him 🥰 We love the new display and presentation, looks amazing !

Been wanting to try this place in Chinatown for a while.

The food came out quite quickly despite being busy.

We got the whole fish with ginger sauce fried with the fried rice with crispy chicken. Both cost $14.90.

The fish tasted great, being crispy and flaky and the sauce was nice salty and sour.

The fried rice was made well.

Would definitely come here again.

Went in to try because I was craving for Crispy Pork Belly with Kailan. The portion here is big, the same as ordering only the dish without rice at other places but costs less than $20, with rice too. Real cheap in comparison to other places.

There was a lot more veggies than the pork belly pieces and it was just the right amount of saltiness and spiciness.

The lady at the counter was very friendly and attentive. The food came out pretty quick.

Nothing much they can do about the atmosphere since it's located inside the food court Eating World.

Came here twice this week. Tried the whole fried fish with basil and the steamed whole fish with chilly. Both are delicious.

The medium spiciness is just right for us, even though we are used to spicy food. Do notborder Thai hot level if you are not used to spicy food.

What an awesome place, Dixon food court has alot great selection. We decided to try At Thai and that definitely did not disappoint. The food was delicious, we especially loved the fried fish and Thai dressing, it still making me drool. The way it was dished up made everything taste better. This now a regular place when we head into Dixon

Hidden gem of Sydney China Town. Located in the food court. The most popular items are the whole deep fried fish at ridiculous low price. $11.90 for the whole fish with soup and rice!!!! Plenty of sauce choice. My favorite is deep fried fish with seafood sauce. Fish itself is fresh but has a lot of bones, so enjoy with caution. :)

Good portion, affordable, polite and friendly customer service. I frequently visit this place with my friends as well as alone. Extremely affordable menu!! Finishing up the whole fish dishes alone can be challenging because the portion is full on ! 🙂 Try the bestseller fish with ginger sauce !

Fried fish in ginger sauce is legit! $14.90 for that, fried rice & soup (although they didn’t give soup because they were out; no issue though). Absolutely perfectly cooked fish, crispy, sweet & salty. Egg fried rice is simple & on point.

This was our 2nd visit here .We had fish with ginger sauce, fish with pepper sauce and rice. Also ordered hokien noodles with Oyster sauce. Food was awesome and delicious. We came here 3 yrs ago (2019 . From Melbourne)For the 1 st time and quality and taste has been maintained. We were equally impressed then and now again.

I’ve been here a few times and never been disappointed. Fish was cooked to perfection, my favourite was steam fish with extra spicy chili basil sauce. Service was average, it’s a food court what do you expect but the food is definitely good value for money. Can be hectic during lunch/dinner time.

5 of 5 really good I highly recommend the Tom Yum sup. The portions are very generous.

The fish are amazing. So much flavour, we had our fish Thai hot which was the perfect amount of heat. Only down side was the fried fish was a little overcooked but still worthy of 5 starts.

The Pad Kee Mao was great, the taste was very good and there was a good diversity of vegetables. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a good value thai place!

working as a chef in last 13 years I try many Thai foods, recipes I Been to many Thai restaurants last week I try the food and it’s blows my mind that’s really good and fresh even today my off day I went there and had some really great food I will recommend this Thai restaurant you must go and try that is the best Thai food you can find in Sydney will recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
