La’Kinga Boarding Kennels

Wonderful boarding kennel. Our 2 pups had such a great time during their week stay over new year 2017/18. They were well looked after, the kennels were clean, comfortable and Mike really works hard to keep all dogs comfortable and safe. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to go on holiday knowing their pets are well looked after.

My dog cant wait to spend time at this kennel, her tail is wagging from the moment we enter the long drive & she always greets Mike & Kerry with enthusiasm. A fabulous place that we highly recommend for your fur baby to stay while you are away, our dog has so much fun here playing with the other dogs that she needs to rest for several days when she comes home - this is her holiday place & she loves it.
We often need to arrive out of hours & Mike has always been accomodating. If i message them to check in, they always respond & have even sent photos of my dog enjoying the large outdoor areas. This is not a kennel where the dogs are locked in cages all day, for those that are keen (like mine) they are able to socialise, play, swim & possibly snooze with their friends. Knowing my dog is well cared for with Mike & Kerry makes dropping her off so easy & keeps us coming back regularly year, after year.

Tiggy, (Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier) and Cooper (Mini Schnauzer) stayed at La'Kinga Boarding Kennels over Christmas and were very well cared for. It's obvious that Mike has a lot of experience with all different breeds of dogs. Tiggy required several pills a day and Mike had no problem with this! If you're looking for kennels along the Murray River, I recommend you check out La'Kinga.

Mike was easy to contact and went out of his way to send pictures and videos of our dog during his stay.

Nice place, but what they dont say on their website anywhere, or tell you in person when you drop your dog off at about 2.00 pm, is that their day starts at 10 am, so if like us you go to pick your dog up at 10.30, you get charged for an extra day, so he was there 3 nights, but only two and a half actual days , but they charged us for 4 days, VERY VERY unhappy, and would never leave our dog there again when charged an extra day for being half an hour late on an unidentified time,
motels say have to be out by 10, so you get out in time and go to collect your pet not aware that there is a deadline and it costs you, not right
so this is saying beware to anyone chosing to leave their pet there they have no give no leniency and dont tell you all the facts.
