Thai Foon Restaurant

Great Thai restaurant with yummy food. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Quiet here during the week so reservations are not required. It can be very busy here on weekends and holidays so recommend you make a reservation on these occasions. The views over Darlingharbour to the city are great.

This place is usually quiet for lunch but packed at night for dinner. Went twice within a week as the food is amazing.
Chicken, meat, seafoods and even Vegetarian menus available.

Delicious food and lovely staff! My mum is the hardest person to please when it comes to food, and she not only loved the food, she wants to go back before we leave!

After seeing a lot of negative reviews on Google, I checked TripAdvisor which had better reviews, I decided to give the restaurant a go as I HAD to try their black pepper soft shell crab. Negative reviewers said service was slow, staff were unfriendly and portions were small. I'm glad to report from my experience that none of that was true in my visit. Staff were highly responsive and friendly, food was served real quickly and shock horror that soft shell crab dish was large enough to feed 2 people - and of course it was delicious! I was sooooo full cramming it all, I just left all the capsicums behind as I dislike them (I was dining by myself and didn't want to doggy bag). I highly recommend Thai Foon. I'm happy to return to the restaurant. Yum.

We had a surprise party for my husband's 50th birthday at Thai Foon, with a total of 30 guests In our group. Food was great, especially with their new & extended menu. Views are beautiful, with fireworks at 8.30 pm every Saturday night. We were very happy with the service, the quality of food, and attention given to our group. Linda (owner) was extremely accommodating, and we had 2 wait staff dedicated to our group- Tippy & Jolie, who were polite, pleasant, and very helpful. They were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone- for large or small groups.

Went here because of the amazing range on the menu. Wasn't disappointed ! The view of darling harbour was amazing and the service was fast and friendly. My mum and I were very happy with the food and cocktails. Awesome night.

The food was really tasty the service was excellent. I will be going again and will be bringing more friends. Highly recommended Thai Foon the plus side has a beautiful view of darling habour can eat in or sit outside over looking the view.

A little on the pricey side for the more casual atmosphere however everything seemed high quality, there is a very nice view, decent food (seafood in the soya noodles was best mix of seafood I’ve ever had at a Thai place, and beats a fair few seafood restaurants too). For the location, I think it’s pretty good value.

My brother ate half of his meal and it was too chilli for him, lovely waitress offered to give him a new meal that did not have chilli in it.

Lovely food and very friendly staff. Also as a vegetarian I like it they have a separate vegetarian menu. This makes it easy to see all you potions. 🙂
