I go past this place every day for work so when I felt like some Korean i thought I would try it and it didn't disappoint. The galbi jim was really good well seasoned and fall off the bone. The pork cutlet was not too thick and had a good batter on it (both came with rice included). Banchan was only 3 sides which was a little bit less than I'm used to but it's a small shop and the quality was really good. I'll give their fried chicken a try next time.

Oldest Korean restaurant in Sydney! 🇰🇷

Inconspicuous little place on Parramatta Road, I must have gone by it countless times without noticing. Decided to give it a try on a whim and I'm glad we did. If we could do half ratings, I'd give it a 4.5.

Lovely service and tasty food. Not as plentiful banchan (the tasty starters to share) as some other Korean restaurants, but they were good.

A meal here may skew slightly higher than some other Korean restaurants. A few dishes (like the short ribs) had a higher price point, and you'll need to add on kimchi as an extra.

The food came out so fast that I actually forgot to take a pic of the bibimpap. Sorry!

Was super pleased to have tofu bibimpap and veggie dumplings options.

We were super happy with our food and we'll be back! No doubt one of the better Korean options in the Inner West.

This is truly a local hidden gem in Camperdown. They claimed to be the oldest Korean restaurant in Sydney since 1985 and I can definitely see why they could survive throughout these years. This small business is run by a married couple with three kids. Don’t be fooled by the small and humble appearance.
The food is of high quality and generous in portion sizes. We only ordered two dishes and had some leftovers to takeaway for lunch tmr.
Spicy soft tofu stew is packed with flavours and plenty of seafood (see pictured - prawns, squid, clams). Spicy level is good but it was a little too salty.
Pork bulgogi is the highlight of the dinner for us. Sizzling on a hot plate, fragrant and well flavoured.
Fried chicken is also a must try - recommended honey soy and garlic chilli
No cards surcharges and no extras for takeaway containers are quite rare in the market these days which I really appreciate for.

We went for dinner and originally was hesitate as the restaurant was quite dark… there was already a table of people and while we waited our food, many take away orders. There are only 2 staffs in this local restaurant but service was adequate. He was nice to allowe half order of fried chicken, and we ordered stew beef tofu. Both meals were very nicely done and we will definitely make this our regular restaurant.

I cant say anything further. Food is great. They are open to late hours. I love the current owners! It’s sad that the cat had to follow previous owner back to Korea, otherwise this place will get 6-stars!
Vegetarian friendly (DO TRY Pajeon/Pancakes!). Althought it’s not their specialty, their Korean Chicken is not to miss!

came here just in time before the lunch menu ends at 230pm and we had a bibimbap $15 (otherwise $20) to share alongside a combo platter of fried chicken. went fr the honey soy and garlic chilli flavour fr $32 and there were about 5-6 pcs each. the chicken was incredibly flavourful and tender. honey soy was definitely our favourite! side dishes were decent nothing extraordinary. service was positive as well. couldn’t finish the chicken so we were given boxes to pack them up without being charged extra unlike most eateries usually do and we rlly appreciated that. it was a great meal and we’ll definitely be back!

This place says it's the older Korean place in Sydney, it's all very tasty and the service is really cool, it has such a nice vibe inside. It has a really cool cat with a bowtie that loves a pat! If you get the steamed chicken be prepared for how big it is! It will fill you up and it's very delicious.

This is a genuine Korean restaurant owned by Korean family. I have tried dining in a few time now and almost everything tasted the same as what I used to have back home in Korea. Spicy pork bulgogi, kimchi jeon (pankcake), and garlic soy flavoured fried chicken are ones of my favourites there. I cant wait to go back for trying other menu soon.

Came here on a weeknight, we were the only table, which was surprising as the service and food were perfect! Recommend for authentic Korean, not cheap but definitely good quality.

Truely home cooking style Korean.
‘OX bone soup’ and ‘Gal Bi Jjim’ were very tasty. I definitely go back to try other dishes.
Choices for vegetarian also I can confidently share dishes with my children who are sensitive with preservatives.

My husband and I had the Seafood Kai guk su and the Prawn Bibimbab. Both were faultless; exuding with aromatics and bursting with flavour on all fronts.

The kai guk su was generous with the seafood, and had a lipsmackingly delicious broth that was beautifully balanced with layers of heavenly flavour! To top it off, the handmade noodles were so delightfully moreish with the most perfect texture.

The Bibimbab has everything you could ask for from the Korean cuisine with rice. All of the components complemented each other wonderfully.

We tried the kalguksu, bibimbap (my fave from this order), steamed egg, and garlic chilli fried chicken (asked for half). Everything was delicious. It’s what I would imagine I would have been served if someone invited me to their home and made me a meal. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Kudos to the 2-person staff who took care of the whole place. All the tables were occupied but we never felt like we weren’t being served promptly. The food arrived quickly too and was top notch.

Like others are saying, great little hidden gem, with home cooked food. The couple that run the place are awesome! Great place to grab lunch or dinner.

The kimchi pancake is ridiculously crispy and delicious. This is a one woman show - waitress and chef all in one, what a legend. The food is really good, fast, cheap and come in large quantities. We had to take some food away. Very happy we came here!

Fresh, tasty, just terrific. I lived in Korea for years and sometimes miss the flavours, open Korea reminds me and, I think, does the best fried chicken around!
