Highly recommended Malaysian restaurant! Visited here a little while ago with family in a group of four using a voucher. There was so much food we all waddled home like penguins when we finished up.

We could not decide between the pineapple or soft shell crab fried rice so we went for both and they were equally superb. The fresh drinks were really nice and helped with the nice spicy dishes we ordered.

The beans were great, satay tender and delicious, and the roti were to die for. We are already planning to return with others as I know my niece will devour a plate of the beans by herself.

We checked all the food places in the centre and came back here because it smelt really good. Definitely not disappointed. Shared the Char Koay Teow and Singapore curry fried noodles, extremely happy ,awesome meal especially for the price( $12.80 lunch special). Left feeling very full.

Mamaks village is one of the best places for food. Got Groupon voucher for the family and feasted our hearts out. The staffs are very helpful, well trained and service was so polite. One of my go to places for halal food.

Very friendly and kind staffs, we ordered Nasi Lemak, Penang laksa and Hainan Chicken Rice. We waited a while but the food was definitely worth it for the wait and the price.
Would definitely come back again.

Great Malay restaurant! Went for lunch, budget friendly at 12AUD per person. Service was great and Laksa was delicious. Small menu done well.

Great service and great food. Came with my husband, seven-year old and 11-month old. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Food came out quickly. Loved the soft shell crab salad and pineapple fried rice. Beef redang was a big hit with everyone, even the baby. Portion sizes were very generous. Will definitely be coming back.

Simply delicious Malaysian! I’ve been here several times and don’t know why all the other restaurants in Harbourside are so much busier because this one has the best quality by far. Tonight we had seafood laksa, it was loaded with seafood and flavourful soup without being too oily, we also got the beef rendang and a roti… SO delicious… perfect hearty comfort food with 10/10 service !

Very delicious food together with awesome service. This is the summary of my experience. You sold try various types of roti in this restaurant. All the ones i tried were awesome. Place is also located very central: around darling harbour which is one of the must touristic areas in Sydney. Can be a bit expensive but i think it's definitely worth the money.

Delicious food with reasonable price. We had a big groups including four very young children and two prams. The staff did their best to accommodate us. They were very helpful, patient and attentive. The satay chicken skewers and rotis were very delicious.

We love this restaurant. It's my hubby birthday weekend and we stayed 2 nights in Sydney CBS and ate our 2 dinners in mamak.
Cozy ambiance, happy waitresses and the food comes in breeze.

The roti was one of best I’ve had. Delicious satay sticks and soft-shell crab fried rice. Was staying close so takeaway was easy and still hot and yummy.

Best value for money Malaysian food in Darling Harbour

I love the food in this restaurant. I've tried most dishes and they are all amazing. Beef rendang and the deep fried barra are delicious. Serving sizes are very good. All Waitress are very helpful and friendly. U must try the desert. Ais kacang is my favourite. This restaurant makes it the best.

I stumbled upon this place by accident while strolling within the Harbourside Darling Harbour mall, and what a pleasant surprise it was! The dishes looked and sounded really authentic and yum. It was a pity I only had chance for 1 meal there - I got the Prawn with Crispy Noodles and also Roti Telur Bawang (Egg roti with onions). The taste of both was very good. The Prawn dish was just slightly too soupy but it still tasted good and the prawns were large. I would definitely make it a point to visit this place again, service was friendly, and food was served quickly. Wish I took a photo but my silly phone ran out of battery that night. There were heaps of other dishes I'd like to try e.g. curry laksa, fried kuey teow, more rotis, etc. One day, one day. Highly recommended.

Great food. Delicious lunch options, generously portioned. Very friendly service. This is a new place that's just opened up in the Harbourside Shopping Center. Lunch times are rather quiet, but the waitress mentioned that the weekend evenings do get busy, so reservations might be a good idea. The Nasi Lemak with Chicken Kapitan (chicken curry) was absolutely delicious. For $12!

Food was good and staff was friendly. They where nice enough to lend a phone charging cable. only downside was the time it took a bit long to get the food out to us.
