Best haircut by Georgie. Haven’t been this happy in a long time with my haircut. Vibe of the salon is great and everyone is so welcoming and friendly! If you are looking for a good time and great hair then go here!

I am a long standing customer of Stevie English - love the expertise, customer service and responsiveness of the entire team. Colour magicians, Hair magic. Georgie has been styling my hair recently and she is next level.

First time I booked it was it was in person and the lady at front desk was up front. “We charge the same for men as we do for women”. “Scare me I said, what will the damage be”. Well at this point regardless of the price I was locked in or I would have come across as being cheap! (Note, if you currently paying $40-$50 for a cut, expect to pay a lot more).

Anyway, despite no longer working in Glebe and living some 20 away I always make the effort to return. Some might say it’s because I’m on a KTM1190 Adventure bike and just have fun getting there):.. well they would be partially right!

BUT, the talent of all their hairdressers are amazing. I think they even do hair for “The Voice” but that didn’t come from me!.

Coffee on arrival, a darkened room with reclining chairs where the hair wash and scalp massage sends you to another planet. #amazing

How many of you have been for a cut that is done and dusted in less than half an hour?. Hairdresser talks to all and sundry in the establishment, it all feels a little rushed?!

Anyway, ain’t going to happen here. The focus is on the customer, “YOU”. One on one conversation, banter is good. Allow for a minimum of an hour.

John does the best blonde + cuts I have ever seen! I alway leave the salon feeling so beautiful. Highly recommend him. Never have I had so many compliments on my hair after I see John.

Jasmine conducted a comprehensive consultation that helped me to plan the direction of my cut and colour journey. I am genuinely pleased with the colour and tone chosen. Jasmine is both warm and personable.

If you are thinking about going here, do it. Don’t wait, just go and you will not be disappointed! The salon is beautiful, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I saw the beautiful Jasmine for my colour, cut and style and she was not only lovely but she really listened to what I wanted. She took her time and explained to me about the colour and style I wanted and what would work best. I have left feeling the absolute best and I’m totally in love with my hair. Thank you so much xx

I've been going to this salon for 8 years and cannot recommend highly enough. All the staff are excellent, the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. I'm always thrilled with my cut and colour, the overall experience is amazing.

Went it after a friend recommended the place. Was skeptical because I was recovering from a haircut trauma. Coming here was the best choice ever.

Sadie was amazing! She took care of all my concerns(frizz, spilt ends and a haircut), looked at my inspo reel and told me why the techniques used there isnt the best for my hair but still gave me the exact result I wanted. I have frizzy hair, always suspected had wavy hair but had no idea where to start to take care of it. Sadie explained every single step to me and made it so easy to understand and actually doable at home.

She even styled my hair the way I would do it at home and I left with a much more realistic idea of what my hair ACTUALLY looks like (so much better that leaving with a blowout and 1 wash in being depressed because your hair actually isnt like that).

Everyone was so excited to see my waves as they were being styled and it filled me with confidence because I never imagined myself with waves/loose curls. Still getting used to it and all the love definitely helps!

She even gave me great and affordable product recommendations for every step in my routine - vegan, sulphate free and perfect for my hair!

I waited till after wash day to write this review to see if i'm actually happy with the products, steps and the haircut and needless to say I am!

Also, great hospitality from the whole team! Fantastic experience! Highly recommend!!

Been coming here for more than 5 years, after a recommendation from a friend to get my hair coloured and cut for my wedding. All staff take the time and effort to ensure they provide the best service in hair styling, cuts and hair colour. Can not recommend it highly enough. Been getting my hair done by senior stylist Leanne and I always am happy with everything 😃

I booked a colour transformation appointment I went from brown/blonde to bright red/orange. Harrison was amazing so talented and professional and even though the salon was very busy, and they had some apprentices away sick I was well looked after. The team always made sure I was comfortable or if I needed anything. I am beyond happy with the result, huge shout out to Harrison and the team!

Had my appointment yesterday with Ella for colour and Georgi for cut and I am amazed and very happy with the outcome (after a big disaster with my previous hairdresser). The consultation in the beginning was exceptional. They both are very knowledgeable and gave the cut and colour a personalised touch. The whole team is outstandingly friendly and welcoming, offering refreshments all the way through my appointment. They definitely let you feel special. Very professional and welcoming. Sadie my hairdresser there does an amazing job cutting and colouring my curly hair. Been a client there for 4+ years. Since going there, I have learned how to style, care and love my naturally curly hair. My son has had a few curly hair cuts with Georgie too and she is great. Mel is always making sure that my appointments are all made in advance and if there was ever a last minute change, no problem at all. She brings a great vibe to Stevie English Hair. 😍

Had my second visit today and I love it here, staff are always exceptionally friendly offering refreshments. Leanne was super knowledgable and was able to make recommendations based on what I’d like style wise whilst still keeping my hair healthy, she also explained every step she was doing and why.
