Fantastic Thai restaurant. Family friendly and reasonable prices. The king prawn with snow peas and chicken pad Thai were delicious and reminded me of travels to Thailand. Staff were kind and offered crayons and paper to my 2 year old. Good atmosphere with birthday party and cake at the back. Will definitely be coming back!

Best option for thai food in The Spot area. Portions sizes were great and pricing was reasonable. Pineapple fried rice nws the red duck curry were standout. Food also came out quickly.

Awesome local Thai restaurant that has generous portions, great service, well priced and tasty food! My advice is get the Penang curry... just super awesome! Sitting in the middle of the Spot in Randwick, it has a great vibe and is always full of locals enjoying some local food! Love this place... definitely worth a try!

This Thai place surprised me very positively, what I assumed as a regular eatery turned up to a place with very friendly staff, fast service and tasty dishes!

Got takeaway with my daughter and everything was on time, hot and delicious! Highly recommend!

Great lunch, Red Duck Curry was excellent

Excellent Thai food! I am lead to believe that Chao Praya is a bit of an institution in these parts. I was not disappointed. Fishcakes were the right type of chewy, the green curry was outstanding and not firey hot (spicy) and the other beef dish we had was also equally spectacular. Also have Chang beer!

Great value lunch special for $9.90! Not only that but the staff are friendly and the food was tasty. Lunch special I ordered was a chicken pad see ew with a spring roll and Thai milk tea for $9.90. Also the food was delicious and not overpoweringly salty nor the drink was not overly sweet. Highly recommended.

The food is delicious, especially the stir fried vegetables with seafood, served best with coconut rice. The staff are always friendly.

Ok, seriously I have been here for years. I've always gotten the same dish - a chicken pad see ew, but that's because it's always so delicious everytime I get it. The friendly staff already know my order everytime I come here. THEY ARE THE BEST LOCAL THAI RESTAURANT PERIOD. Also, their lunch special deal offer their excellent meals at a great price. If it were not for COVID I'd be going here every week.

I'm a regular ay Chao Praya because their food is delicious and the staff are friendly. They're always obliging with gluten free requests which is a must for me and my family.

Tasty food and super friendly staff.
We walked in with our movie starting in 40mins, and we were served within 10mins - Superb!
Oh and my pumpkin prawn dish was DELICIOUS, will visit again for sure.

I got a simple cashew nut dish with mixed veg and tofu. The sauce was yummy, I want the recipe! Watch out for the chunks of spicy pepper, don't chew or eat them! I also shared other vegan dishes with family: Thai rice, a noodle dish and a hotplate. They were all delicious!

I started coming here in the 1990s. Recently came here for a holiday from qld. Food is still great staff friendly. Best Thai food ! Seriously

This place has been my goto takeaway/home delivery Thai for years! The food is always fresh, tasty and hot. I won’t be changing anytime soon.
