One of my favourite chinese restaurants in town, I called it our ‘canteen (aka fan tong飯堂)’ whenever I’m craving seafood.

We tried their banquet dinner twice and I wouldn’t say food was exceptional, which is why I rather order seafood instead. First time trying stir fried snow crab with black pepper sauce, probably too peppery for me, next time I think I’ll stick with the good old fashion steamed snow crab with egg white and Chinese wine (花雕蛋白蒸白蟹), their steamed oysters with ginger and shallot in soya sauce is also very tasty. The steamed coral trout (aka 冬星斑) has been my ALL TIME FAVOURITE and I have to say no fail each time!!! Well done!

Other dishes have been a bit of a hit and missed; I’ve noticed if we want to eat Peking duck, we have to order in advance otherwise it’s less likely to be available on the day. We have been avoiding chicken dishes because we’re not sure why the chicken dishes we’ve ordered in the past has been dried and stale. Hence, stick with the seafood!

Alternatively, they also offer yum cha in the afternoon. Definitely a place for those who prefer authentic Cantonese dim sum dishes.

Been here once for dinner for the lobsters and 3 times yumcha so far. I would say I like it for good food and vibe with not high of the price. It is surprise that you can easily get a table before 11:30am on a Saturday without much wait. I hope our economy gets better soon!

Celebrated a birthday here. Had a party here. Just had a sumptuous feast here. The largest Lobsters, massive oysters and everything cooked to perfection. The whole menu needs to be sampled with so many delights to savor. A nice night for 2 or 22. Drinks service food all top notch. Highly recommended and need to go more than once. Enjoy the delights of the Royal Treasure

Royal treasure seafood is located in Burwood not very far from westfields and Burwood train station. All the food served here is amazingly delicious and cooked within reasonable time! Staff are friendly and prompt. I have been at this restaurant a few times and will definitely go in future.
Parking is free after 6pm but the elevators sometimes take a long time as there are 2 available for use in the whole centre.

Good, wide availability of yum cha dishes, very well executed too. The pork pastries were perfection. My only feedback is that the taro footballs were a bit dry, & I wish they had a sauce dish for each patron. We ate till we were stuffed and it was $26 per person. I would come here again!

I visited Royal Treasure Seafood Restaurant on a Saturday morning for yum cha with a big group of friends. The restaurant was quite big and spacious with large windows. Everything seemed quite new and clean. The ladies wheeling the trolleys of food came by promptly to show us what they have. My highlights were the pumpkin looking glutinous rice dumpling, all the steamed dumplings which were made with fresh ingredients, and the braised beef with rice noodles in a clay pot.

Waited 30 minutes for a table but it was worth it. Lots of variety and all yum cha dishes were hot and fresh. Lovely friendly staff who were polite. Will be back for yum cha and to try dinner.

My workplace always comes here for group dinners and we are never disappointed! The service is always super friendly and prompt and the food is always delicious. Since we are usually a large group, we are given the private room but the staff ensures that we continue to receive continual service.

Great Traditional Style yum cha place in Burwood:). Weekend waiting time are a bit longer than normal. Make sure you reserve extra 30 mins just for queue.

Great yum cha venue that is popular with the locals. Has all the standard har gow, siu mai etc, as well as some dishes like the salty egg custard buns and desserts that I have not seen at other places. Service is good and I didn't have any issues ordering even though I don't speak Chinese.

Have been here for dinner too and their soups are good value. Have tried herbal chicken, toothfish & lamb stew.

Tip: it gets packed out after 11am, so try and go before then.

I wanted to go on Good Friday, but I knew nothing would be open! So I decided to go visit my friend in her area “Burwood” and we both love our Yum Cha, so I decided to Google search the best rating yum Cha in Burwood and I found this one!!! And no regrets!!

The wait was over one hour! But definitely well worth it! 😍

The food was amazing! Everything tasted delicious! Outstanding quality food!

The dumplings were super juicy, the tripe were soft and not so chewy! The congee warmed my soul 😍 The wonton were also so crispy! The egg tart was so fresh and crunchy! The mango pudding was very smooth and velvety. Everything was yummy!!! ❤

The only issue that I experienced was that all the waiters & waitresses didn’t understand a word I said to them!! So my friend had to speak to them in Cantonese.

But yes the whole food experience it’s self was mind-blowing yum! Everything tasted so fresh!

Highly recommended!

Had my 30th birthday dinner here. We went with the banquet c menu and everything was cooked so perfectly. Very big portions, our group of 10 ended up asking for take away boxes to take the rest of the leftover food home. Couldn’t let it go to waste.

We ordered lobster as well for the special occasion and was recommended to try it cooked in garlic butter sauce, which was TO DIE FOR! So good! I would highly recommend this dish.

Venue is big, new, clean and spacious. Atmosphere is lively and service was really good too! The waiter who looked after us was an older man and incredibly gentle, attentive and sweet.

This place is now one of my favourite Chinese restaurants now :) I intend to come back to try their yum cha next time.

Went here for yum cha on a Tuesday lunch and the place was busy. When we arrived we were seated quickly and the food came soon after. The service was very quick and overall it was good value for money.

Great authentic Chinese food for Asians. Service was a bit slow to start but then the dishes kept coming. to all the folks who don't normally eat this stuff, Make sure to bring a "passport" if you're not familiar with this style of food to get the best dining experience.

Been here a few times, the food and service is always great. Reasonably priced too and easy access to parking when early. Private room options too with minimum spend. Free complimentary soup of the day that doesn’t taste salty or with lots of msg and fruit and cookies for dessert.
