The food and the people in the camp were amazing! I had so much fun going out surfing for the first time ever and the instructors were super nice and encouraging. I can highly recommend going here if you wanna learn how to surf and have a fun time while doing it :)

I had a really nice time at spot x. Staff are friendly and I felt all the time safe in the water. I learned a lot about the ocean, surfing... would be nice if we could stay longer in the water.
Food is really good, rooms are also fine.
Kajak/Kangaroo tour was also really fun.
What would be good, if the shop open also in the afternoon. And the barista around lunch time to get a good coffee. I miss that place already! Free shuttle service, we'll organized

Beautiful Spot with a nice athmosphere. Staff is amazing and so the food
The activities are a bit pricy for these rather short experiences
I can very recommend for solo travellers

Just had the most awesome 4 days at spot X mojo surf camp, beautiful location, surf instructors are great, they love what they doing so much and they share that passion with us, while remaining safe and learning the danger of the ocean. I went from not knowing anything about surfing to be able the ride some waves after only 3 days. Thanks for this beautiful experience

I've never surfed in the actual ocean before, as I learned to surf in a wave pool. My goal at the camp was to gain the confidence to navigate the ocean and read and catch waves on my own. The instructors' knowledge and experience truly shone during the surf lessons, providing me with on-point feedback to accelerate and evolve my surfing style.

I absolutely loved the expression sessions, where the instructors surfed with us, which was pivotal in building my confidence to venture out into the ocean by myself. The daily activities were a blast, with surf skating being my favorite. I want to give a huge shoutout to Jessica for her patience and encouragement in teaching me surf skating – you're an absolute superstar, Jessica!

And how can I forget the food – it was wholesome, nourishing, and delectable, providing the rocket fuel I needed for the next day's adventures. The awesome vibe and the fantastic people I met made this an epic holiday that I will cherish and hold close to my heart. Thanks, Mojo Surf! 🏄‍♂✨

Great experience overall. Highly recommended. Learned surf basics in 3 days. Good food and nice spot to meet people.
Rooms of improvement:
The room wasn’t that clean.
If you want the full experience they charge you more and they don’t tell you in advance, only when you get there.
The majority of the staff was friendly but some surf instructors and other staff was really in a bad mood.
Even with that, I give it a 5 stars because there’s always room for improvement and you cannot control everybody’s mood.

I can honestly say Spot x was the highlight of my east coast trip!! Firstly the location is so great- the camp has its own beach with the nicest sunsets. Lessons are so great for beginners, the waves are perfect sizes and the instructors make it really easy for you and are a good time! They really give you a lot of one on one time too, regardless of group size. Food is included and they feed you lots with buffe style during the day so plenty of variety, and really delicious dinners (really nice if you're vegetarian as well). Best of all it really has that camp feeling, with fires at night and drinks and games so you meet so many people that are also traveling the same places! Definitely go here- it really started my journey with a bang!

Great spot! Spent 4 nights camping at a powered tent site last week. Facilities excellent and right on the beach! Handy to Woolgoolga for any urgent supplies. Reece the manager was excellent. Super helpful and went out of his way to look after us! Highly recommended

Had a great time here, the staff are super friendly - if a little cliquey - but they always make sure the clients are doing okay! The food is good and filling, there's no choice though, you get what you're given.. I'm not a fussy eater so it wasn't a problem for me! The surf instructors make their way around each individual whilst out on the waves, if you're struggling ask for help! They're great teachers 🤘🏄

I had such a great time in Arrawarra, Spot X which I booked with Happy Travels in Sydney. I’ve done surf lessons before but since this is a camp it feels more like a lifestyle and not just a instruction. I’ve learned more at the group surf lessons at Spot X then I did when I got personal lessons in Bali. The crew is great and it feels like one big family, obviously they organise nice activities at night but they also take the afford to have a little chat with you during the day. The location is just perfect, they have their own private beach so it's just the people from the camp and the waves are fit for beginners and intermediates. I highly recommend doing it for at least 5 days, living the dream.

Just recently went to spot x for a weekend, I have been surfing before so I was really excited to get on a board again! The place is really nice and the waves were seriously PERFECT! You get to know so may people, the staff interacts with you, I have really improved my skills during those days and had an amazing time! I'm thinking about doing the acadamy to be able to stay there for 3 months :))

Love that we discovered this hidden gem due to last minute long weekend change of plan. Was worried about the strong backpacker and surf school presence but they were well separated from the tiny caravan park for more local tourists - genius! Tucked away in the corner of Arrawarra - beautiful beach and creek. It is relatively secluded and not too crowded. Definitely on my list to stay again.

I loved spot x so much, never wanted to leave! Surfing was so fun and I met so many people there! Staff were all really nice and helpful. Loved the easy going nature of the camp- literally just surf and chill during the day and always social at night. At the end of the night we would always go down to the beach in big groups and sometimes went night swimming and watched the stars. 10/10 would recommend. Jus livin the dream

I can't say enough amazing things about Spot X. It was my first stop in Australia, and it was by far my favorite! From the superb location, right on Arrawarra beach to the summer camp vibes of staying in cabins. Being at Spot X was an experience of a lifetime. At Spot X I was able to calm all of my nerves about being a solo traveler. With a fun and outgoing staff and friendly and chatty clients it is the perfect place to be a solo traveler or an amazing place to spend some time catching waves with your mates. During my time at Spot X I made lifelong friends, and would jump at any opportunity to go back!!!

Just left spot x and it exceeded my expectations! As a beginner surfer I was nervous that I would struggle to get up and surf, but the instructors were more than helpful with teaching me. Along with the great lessons, spot x put on a few activities like kangaroo golf, and ocean rafting (one of the highlights of my trip). I would recommend this camp to anyone travelling the east coast as it was one of my favorite parts of australia! Cheers to spot x!! Yewww

Best time to be had. I did my 1 yr working holiday visa and didn't actually surf until my very last month and when I finally did I decided to come to mojo surf. I wish I had done this sooner! I knew I'd enjoy it so I worked for food and accomodation so that I can surf everyday for free and that's exactly what I did. Surfed. Every. Day. My team was friendly and professional, Clients are happy and out-going, The food is better than any camp I have ever been to, and the water was always warm and full of waves (sometimes big sometimes small but always fun)
I recommend this camp to anyone who wants a surf adventure :)
