Frank has retired from Rundle Street. Still gives a great 'old school' barber haircut. Think clippers, and razors, .. not coloured tips and a lightning bolt.

I feel disappointed knowing that I lack the capacity to convey how brilliant Frank genuinely is. Having only moved to Adelaide recently, Frank was the very first barber I visited. Suffice to say, I immediately knew after my first haircut I wasn’t going anywhere else. Frank offers a standard of practice very seldom nowadays: humility and class. In conjunction with his professionalism and ease of talking to, and as superficial as it might sound, I feel genuinely grateful being able to be given the opportunity to go to Frank’s. Absolutely wonderful and fantastic man, I oddly find myself wishing that my hair grew at a faster rate so I could go more often; genuine pleasure to know him.

I would implore anybody looking for a barber of superlative quality to visit Frank. Barbers of his standard are scarce and few, we’re fortunate to be given the opportunity to have him within the Adelaide community.

Googled top closest barber and Frank’s came up. Found the shop, there were others there and I didn’t mind the wait. He was friendly, personable, advised and consulted the best type of cut and took the time to really get to know what type of cut and length would work best. He suggested we cut a little and then take it from there. All in all I was in the chair about 25 minutes and the cut looks great. Found the process very therapeutic and already looking forward to my next return.

He is able to keep very competitive prices by having his clients pay cash which is very reasonable.

No point in trying other shops, Frank’s is the definite go to place!

This is an old fashion barber shop where Frank keeps good conversation flowing with an occasional pause for espresso. He is a photographer so his pictures offer you something good to appreciate while you wait your turn.

Since moving to Australia 12 years ago, Frank has been my barber of choice. I currently live over 30Km from the City and still prefer to drive there. Come for the old school experience: great service, great conversation with a great price.

Quality banter with real men's cuts, no bookings. I read that Frank first started learning to be a barber from the age of 7 in Florence, Italy! This guy isn't just a barber, he is an Adelaide icon.

As a new customer, Frank took the time to explain and demonstrate how he was going to achieve the desired haircut. Even threw in a free beard trim (and refused extra payment for it). A good, caring barber with the skills to match. Highly recommended.
