Red Cow Farm Garden

Lovely formal garden with a large dam surrounded by trees and plants at the centre. We visited on a rainy day in autumn and it was very atmospheric with some pretty breathtaking views. The designers have clearly carefully considered where visitors will stop as they walk through the garden and what sort of vista they should see. Lots of stunning Japanese maples. We will come back for a spring visit.
Interpretive signs or pamphlets with info about the garden would be nice to have. Better toilet facilities are needed also, at the moment it's just a porta loo.

What a spectacular find. We were here on a wet drizzly day, so less people than you might imagine. On such occasions do wear wellies.
The gardens are varied and quite large. Easy to spend an hour so here, or if you have the freedom to be contemplative even longer plenty of things to catch your attention.
It was autumn so the colours were vivid and intense.
Each corner revealed a new statue and a new little nook to explore.
It would have been great if there were a tea and scone available, but no such luck. You can BYO.
Our two boys lived exploring all the different parts of the garden.

As a wedding photographer, I can always expect an outstanding experience in stunning venues like the Red Cow Farm Garden. This unique, almost fantasy-like location felt like it came straight out of a fairytale book with how captivating everything is. The beautiful walking paths were enchanting and scenic, with well-maintained gardens and greenery. It's an amazing, tranquil spot for nature-loving couples and also provides the perfect setting for first looks (like what my clients did!). I highly recommend Red Cow Farm Garden!

What a hidden gem! I took the whole family there over the Anzac Day and it was so stunning and relaxing. A must visit place if you are near the Berima Bowral area.

What a wonderful experience it is to wander through these magnificent gardens. I’m so glad it was recommended to us otherwise we might not have stopped. It’s delight to the senses and obviously lovingly maintained. Highly recommend visiting.

Beautifully maintained and presented gardens. So many different and lovely views. Surprises around every corner.

Beautiful garden! Lots of bees, flowers, statues. Kinda transports you to England.
Not pram-friendly so bring a carrier.
There’s also a pub nearby with decent food if you get hungry.
Heads-up - there’s an entry fee. Children don’t enter for free.

Very elegant. Beautiful. Professional. Like a magical garden forrest. Well planed and thought out beautiful plants and statues. You could have a wedding inside that's how beautiful it truly actually is. Whimsical wonderfully just enchanting to be inside.

We had a great visit! This was well worth the money for entry, $15 adults / $10 seniors. Some very interesting garden rooms and obviously a great deal of work to keep it fresh. Was a quiet place, which made it even more special. It was a warm day, around 27°, but amongst the trees it was very pleasant watching the parrots and butterflies.

We had just had lunch a few kilometres north at the Southern Highlands Winery and wanted to work off some of the calories before getting back in the car for the return trip. This was a perfect place to wind down and smell the roses. We were really able to chill out and explore the beautiful surroundings in a very relaxed atmosphere and quiet location. I have never seen as many manicured hedges or variety of maple trees. Happy to have found this in my searching and would highly recommend if you appreciate the landscape design work. Would even be fairly accessible to impaired walkers but probably a bit harder for a wheelchair. We parked in the Red Cow Lane maybe 50 m north of the cottage.

Loveliest spot we had all day and we saw quite a few places in the Southern Highlands, great escape.

Fabulous garden for a relaxing stroll around impressive range of gardens and soak up the Tranquility of the area. Entry Cost of $15 for adults ( $10 seniors) is well worth it.

An absolutely stunning garden and a must visit when heading down to the Southern Highlands if you enjoy being mindful and taking in beautiful sights/gardens. My husband is usually not the type to appreciate a beautiful garden the way that I would but he actually thoroughly enjoyed the visit here and said it was the highlight of our trip down this way. There’s beauty to be found in every corner here.

Who needs Giverny when this magnificent, peaceful garden is only 1.5 hours south of Sydney! Beautifully designed and full of amazing vistas and 20 garden rooms, it is a treat to visit in all seasons and is a huge credit to amazing designer/gardener @ali_mentesh! So lucky to have it!

A beautiful sunny autumn day snd a couple of hours meandering in these gorgeous gardens - heavon! Owner and staff welcoming and knowledgeable.

I have so many photos of this amazing hidden garden. It was exploding with beautiful Autumn colours. It was peaceful & delightful. Can’t wait to come back in Spring. There are a number of dogs there so if you are frightened of dogs take care, they were near the front gate as I entered. The ground was moist & muddy in some locations so take care walking around.

Such a beautiful hidden away garden. It's alot bigger than it looks on the outside and very nicely maintained. I would love to do a wedding photoshoot here. The entire is fairly priced and also has a cute gift shop. The doggos are also a lovely addition. It would look even more wonderful in the spring. Gorgeous experience! There's a porta loo of needed and plenty of access friendly paths. Great for picnics too

Cannot believe I have driven past this gem of a garden probably for the better part of the last 35 years and not having known it was there. It has been on my list of things to do since August last year. Finally pulled my finger out and got there. If you love gardens this is one not to miss. The vivid colours of autumn set the garden off. Can't wait to come back in spring and see it in full bloom. $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and afternoon well spent.

Amazing garden! Much bigger than we first thought from the outside! Constantly surprised at every turn. Beautiful flowers, well maintained walk paths. Not pram friendly, so, use a baby carrier instead. Well worth every $.

Worth it. The garden has been looked after so well. Ideal for a half-day trip from the nearby southern highlands towns.

This garden is a pleasure to visit at any time of year. I like to stroll around the many paths and garden rooms on my own so as to focus on the sensory experiences. It is a wonderful place for quiet reflection or meditation.
