Capital Pathology Dickson

Reviews don’t do this place justice. I was visiting from NSW and needed a place open Saturday morning for a blood test. Capital Path Dickson fit the bill. Arrived a few mins after 7.30AM opening time and there were about 5 people in front of me. Expecting a long wait, I was pleasantly surprised to be seen by a pathologist within 15 mins and out the door within 20. They must have had 3 pathologists working.
Receptionist was friendly and happily printed my referral that I only had in my email (not a physical copy). Pathologist was quick and friendly. Would definitely visit again if I need a blood test next time I’m in Canberra.

I’ve been there a few times and today I took my little one there for the first time. A very young lady (I wish I had asked her name!) looked after him, and she was so kind, patient and professional. All my experiences there were positive, I can’t recommend them enough:)

Just had my Glucose test done and I couldn’t be more grateful to the staff there esp Taylor for her patience and gentle hands while drawing blood. She has hands of an angel and I have had bad experiences with needles before(caused bruising and sore) but Taylor completely changed my views on needles. I cannot thank you enough, Taylor. If your blood’s has to be drawn, ask for Taylor 😊

I've had my blood taken at Capital Pathology Dickson over 10 times in the last six months, and while sometimes I have had to wait for up to 20 minutes, the staff have been accommodating and incredibly professional. I hate needles and every time, the pathologist collecting my sample has tried to help ease my fear and help me through it. Dickson, is the best CP I've been to in Canberra so far.

A very courteous, efficient and professional visit today. I felt a bit faint after fasting and staff checked on my well being several times. Thank you.

Lovely & helpful staff. Came in at 3pm and was taken in immediately. Usually nurses and doctors have trouble finding my veins but these guys always get it done quickly and efficiently. Results are also always sent to the correct doctor promptly!

I arrived at 7:30 am and was very promptly processed and ready to have bloods taken. Usually I can end up with a bruise from the process - but this time no pain - no bruise and a very efficient visit. Thanks to the team at Dickson - an easy process this time round.

It's been a couple of years since I've been here. The staff again were very professional. Reception was friendly and I went in straight away! The collector was welcoming, friendly and very proficient at withdrawing blood. A very satisfying service thank you!

Was surprised to read all the negative comments which appear to be based on unrealistic expectations or self entitlement. The facility is located at the end of the building near a medical centre. There is only limited parking out front but a bigger paid car park across the road. The place was clean and well kept. The staff were efficient and professional. Wait time was acceptable for this type of service

Staff were excellent when I had a bad reaction to a test and took care of me, and put me at ease the whole time. The pathologist's concern was evident, and she went as far as getting me some damp cloths for my head and neck, and insisting it was no bother and telling me take my time etc. I didn't get her name unfortunately, but wish I had so I could thank her again.

Additionally, the procedure itself was quick and efficient - it was just the aftermath that dragged on, which was no fault of theirs.

Went in for a blood test today and let the dr know I had a bad experience last time somewhere else. He was fantastic, chatted to me, and it was so quick and painless. Really great experience.

I was received and attended by Manfusa and she was fantastic. She guided me where to park (i.e. she literally came out from the clinic to show to me where to park). Although I came early, she also attended to me right away so I didn’t have to wait.

I had my glucose test done here today. The staff was absolutely amazing, they kind and helpful.

Walked in and was seen straight away. The lady that helped me was also very nice.

Just don't go during lunch hours

I'm not sure why so many bad reviews, I went there twice and both of times I didn't have to wait long, staff was very friendly, service was very good.

Only people with appointments will be seen between 7:00am and 7:30am Monday to Friday

I have to have regular blood tests and the staff have always been efficient, diligent and expert at minimising discomfort. Wait times are short.

Works well, especially if you’re using the attached GP clinic

The staff here are always amazing and I'm not an easy patient
