Lyneham Wetlands playground

A modest playground but connoisseurs will appreciate the extra high swings.

I was there with seven kids. Off the road, clean and nice. Good place for a break on a bike tour. What would Canberra be without these places?

Popular. Standard, well-maintained neighbourhood playground. Good position on junction of bike paths, well away from roads. Waterbirds on pond make for a further joy for little kids and parents. Signs suggest that feeding bread is not a good idea and feeding with lettuce is encouraged

play space has a very low safety fence to the drainage gully that leads into the wetlands.

As far as playgrounds go, this one isn't the most luxurious. However it does appear to have swings. So it meets the bare minimum of playground requirements imo. This is my first review of a playground. I hope you find it useful.

Except swing, no equipment for babies.
