I held my Bridal Shower at the aVenue and it was an absolute dream venue. The guests complimented the decor, size and vibe the entire time! Laura and the team were amazing and so accommodating to all my requests. The food and drinks were great as well, with the guests wanting to take some home because there was so much. My partner and I recently had our joint 40th Birthday Party - 1980’s theme at The aVenue. When I made the initial enquiry through the website on a Saturday afternoon, I received a response from Laura (the owner) within an hour. We had a call and spoke about the type of event we wanted to have. From there we arranged a venue inspection the following week. From the second I walked into the venue and spoke with Laura I knew The aVenue was the perfect intimate setting for our event with 70 guests attending. Laura had great connections to amazing DJ’s and AV companies, which she arranged for our event and nothing was ever too much trouble.

We decided to choose the Elite food package (5 hot, 5 cold and 3 substantial) as well as the cheese and charcuterie station. The food was excellent and was flowing for a few hours. We decided against the drinks package and went with a tab bar to allow our guest to choose what they wanted to drink. Laura designed a custom cocktail list for our event and everyone at the party loved it!!
Laura kept us up to date throughout the night on of the dollar amount of the tab, which was great.

The bar staff were extremely professional and friendly. The speed of their cocktail making skills was exceptional but what was even more impressive was that they tasted delicious!

Finally, thank you Laura. You were extremely professional and your attention to detail made the planning process a breeze. Quote from many of our guests… Best party in the last decade… thank you for making our event exceed our expectations.

I recently visited The aVenue that left a lasting impression. The atmosphere was inviting, creating a perfect intimate setting for a memorable experience.

The service was exceptional, with attentive staff making every moment enjoyable. The sushi made by Marinos surpassed our expectations, offering a delightful fusion of flavours and incredibly fresh ingredients. Laura was also extremely hospitable and ensured our needs were met from the moment we arrived till the very end of the night.

Additionally, the cocktails were expertly crafted. It's evident that the culinary and mixology teams put a lot of thought and skill into delivering a memorable experience.

We recently held our combined Hens x Bucks here, Great Gatsby themed. A truly exceptional venue, exuding sophistication with 1920s speakeasy vibes. The service was impeccable and the event coordinator, Laura, is immensely attentive and accommodating. Look no further for an unforgettable night!

I am beyond grateful for being able to throw my 40th here. Laura was simply exceptional to deal with from the very start and ensured the night was a success.
The venue is simply stunning and my friends were all commenting on how cool the space was. Even the DJ was raving about the venue - the speakers and decks were compatible with his system so he just had to walk in the door and not worry about his equipment!

My husband and I shared our joint 40th Birthday party here with a "Studio 54" theme and it was magical. This intimate venue is perfect for smaller parties (we had about 40 people) and is perfect for a Gatsby, Studio 54 or even just a sexy theme with all the hot artwork. It is extremely luxe and all the furniture and décor is high end. Great sound system and the Art Deco bar is stunning!

Laura the manager is just an absolute professional and a dream to work with. She couldn't have been any more helpful and accommodating. Whatever your event aspirations are - she will make it happen with her excellent list of contacts and she will work with them so you don't have to get too involved and can focus on enjoying yourself!

Food was classy and tasty and the drinks were reasonably priced. I highly recommend the champagne tower! No one other than your guests can enter and its hidden at the back of a hotel entrance so very unassuming! The security guy we had was super nice too. Toilets are shared with the hotel guests but I didn’t see anyone other than our guests use them and they don’t mind if you want to decorate them a bit. Dropping off props was very straight forward as there is a hotel reception which you can arrange to leave stuff with.

I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome private party venue. All my guests are still talking about it and how EPIC it was. Thank you so much to Laura and the team. We will remember that night forever!

We were a guest at The aVenue for a recent 60th birthday and what an amazing night it was! The aVenue is THE perfect venue and with Laura & her team making sure of every detail and every guest feeling very welcomed. We would highly recommend Laura & the aVenue.

I had my hen party here and it was AMAZING!! The vibes were great, staff was great, Laura as the planner was amazing. The food was nonstop flowing and was brilliant. We had a great drinks and food package catered to our needs which was smooth the whole time. I would love to have another event here, highly recommend

This is the most spectacular venue for a private event. I wanted somewhere truly special to celebrate my belated 30th/33rd birthday and Laura and The aVenue more than delivered.

The venue is breathtaking and luxe, with the potential to transform into whatever your vision is. No other venue I contacted was so flexible and open to exactly what I wanted - I could tell from the first meeting that events is not just a job but a passion for Laura.

Laura is an angel and the loveliest to work with. She is detailed, responsive and always on the ball. She helped account for every detail to make my birthday party perfect and was incredibly patient, no matter how many questions I had. The bar staff are wonderful and made impeccable cocktails all night. My guests and I were absolutely blown away and had the best time dancing the night away.
