The Alcove at Joondalup Resort

Came for dinner lovely meals. Steak was cooked to perfection. Service wasn't that good. Very slow. Going to other tables first. Needs to be more attentive when there was lots of staff on.

Absolutely delicious, cannot fault a single thing. The truffle mezzelune was so flavourful and creamy and the steak was perfectly cooked with a delicious watercress salad on the side. So satisfying and exceeded our expectations, definitely recommend!

Had the fish and chips, amazing quality and a great serving size.
Great atmosphere by the pool. This place is flash as and family friendly.
Staff were approachable and professional.

Beautiful setting with the option to sit inside or out. We had both breakfast and dinner here.

We visited Alcove for the buffet breakfast. We were a large group of 10 people (adults and kids) and we all enjoyed the breakfast. The kids really enjoyed the fresh fruit and endless fruit juices.
The coffee was lovely and hot and plenty of variety. All the staff were super friendly and assisted when needed. We really enjoyed this family treat and look forward to visiting again.

Had an amazing lunch at The Alcove. Everything was superb both in flavour and presentation. Oysters, steak and chicken were standouts. Will definitely be back!

Seafood pasta at its finest...

Between my wife and I, we tried the gnocchi with Gorgonzola, prawns and Zucchini and the 'Nero' -squid ink taglione with fresh seafood and chilli, as recommended by the friendly waitress. Both of the dishes were faultless and I wouldn't have changed a thing on either dish.

It was clear that everything, including the pasta was made in house and that the chefs knew exactly what they were doing.

We look forward to coming back, and may even order the same two dishes!

My family and I have been here twice for breakfast and we love it! Last week we went there for my brothers 21st and to our surprise, the women who greeted us before we ate walked out of the kitchen with a big stack of chocolate chip pancakes and a candle on top! It was such a lovely thing to do and my brother loved it. Really enjoy our experience, never too packed and a nice place to eat. Highly recommend

Had a quick lunch after golf. The Spanakopita was delicious. The smoked beef / lamb koftas were awesome too. I hope they keep the quality up to this level going forward.

My stay was three nights on business. Breakfast at the Alcove makes for a good start to the day. The bar food is tops, but tonight the restaurant menu was up. I had the rump lamb and a side of greens. Let's put it this way, I shouldn't tell my wife just how good it was. If you're looking for food of calibre in a relaxed space then put this place on the list.

The food and service was outstanding. I had come from the uk for a holiday and I can honestly say I have never had the privilege of eating such exquisite food. It was as good as anything you see on TV. The whole experience from service staff to the food could not be faulted.

Star quality food we had Kangaroo, Brussel sprouts that were crisp with Kale. Lamb roll cutlets with the most delicious Chili infused relish and fresh Geraldton Oysters were all incredible.

Highly recommended. This is our second time here and the setting by the pool caps of a great day.

Venue, service and food and atmosphere were exceptional and delivered to a party of seven. I highly recommend The Alcove as the place for a great dining experience.

We had a delicious 3 course dinner at Bistro 38. Can't fault my meal and the service was excellent. The atmoshere was good, not too loud inside and the chairs very comfortable!

Tapas food was beautiful. Great dishes for sharing. Staff very friendly. Can’t wait to return next time we are in Perth.

Scallops, octopus, chicken breast & seasonal greens……. Plus the selection of cocktails…… what an AMAZING experience.
