I had a nice dining experience at "Ummarin Thai." The food was truly exceptional, bursting with delicious flavours that left my taste buds delighted. The portion sizes were generous, offering great value for money. What stood out just as much as the food was the friendly and welcoming staff. Whether you're dining with family, as a couple, or with friends of a younger age, this restaurant has something to offer everyone. I can't wait to return for another memorable meal.

The food was incredibly DELICIOUS. Me and my friend devoured every plates. Prawn grill salmon salad was definitely the highlight of the meal. Exotic seafood was amazing too. Mango sticky rice was very well balanced, warm, chewy and bland on the rice, sweet on the mango, perfect combination. A small lovely cozy atmosphere as well.

Best restaurant in Randwick . We went recently for my birthday and everything was perfect. The service was exceptional as was the food.Highly recommended soft shells crab Laksa ,fresh papaya salad with prawns and Panang curry chicken. We will be back for sure and recommend to all our friends and family!

Visited last minute to Ummarin and was glad we could get a seat as the place was pretty busy.

We had a few classic Thai dishes and were very pleased with the service and quality.

My friend had a few dietary requirements and the staff were supportive and made the changes for us with no issues.

Wowza! I absolutely adore this place; though I've frequented it over the years, my usual choice was delivery. Opted for a dine-in experience this time, and it exceeded expectations. The ambiance is fantastic, the staff exudes warmth, and the cuisine is not only delicious but authentically transports me to Thailand. Mid-meal, I found myself planning a Thailand trip, spurred by the exquisite flavors.

The Pad See Ew was precisely what I craved, the coconut rice struck a perfect balance between sweet and salty, complemented by the satisfying crunch of toasted coconut. The Crying Tiger, a visual delight, arrived enveloped in smoke, evoking the essence of a vibrant Thai street market. A must-order to impress. The attention to detail with things such as the elegant big leaf plates and serving dishes are so appealing; I'm tempted to acquire some for myself.

The atmosphere radiates a relaxed vibe, and while I didn't BYO this time, it's a plan for the next visit. A genuine treat, and as a delightful surprise, homemade mango gelato was generously offered. Highly recommended for an all-around stellar dining experience. This place is a gem, a haven for those seeking an authentic Thai culinary experience in Randwick.

Absolutely stunning food. Of particular note was the panang curry fish Laksa , Excotic seafood and duck and prawns salad was also a nice way to start the experience!! Thanks to the professional and friendly staff.

A bit of a hidden gem for me personally. We walked in and there were fresh flowers everywhere, it had a nice, chill vibe. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The menu provides a wide-range of different type of dishes which was nice.

We ordered two dishes and they tasted really nice, great value for price and it had a lot of vegetables.

Beautiful restaurant, great interior and decorations. Fresh flowers are hand-picked on all tables. We opted for the traditional Thai dishes and curries, and nothing disappointed. The staff are smiley, the food came in no time, very well-presented and delicious. I highly recommend it and would definitely go back very soon.

My family and I have been regular diners at Ummarin Thai for a number of years now. We have always found the food to be consistently excellent and the service warm and friendly. We have lived in the area for many years now and feel this is the best Thai restaurant by a long stretch. Highly recommend!

Most delicious flavourful food especially Duck and prawn salad I have had in a while. Amazing service and great vibes sitting near the kitchen. Very busy so recommend booking. We got a few dishes to share which I recommend. Will be coming back very soon!

Such a lovely place food very tasty. We enjoy cocktails with starter. Food came out very fast and was delicious. Had yellow curry and cashew nuts chicken with rice.

The food is authentic Thai and very tasty. Seasoned for Westerners but still has some kick !if requested. Value for money, good size dishes , serve beautifully. 😋

The food was amazing and beautifully presented. It was also reasonably priced. We had Masaman beef, chicken pad see ew, chilli jam pork belly, fish cakes, salt and pepper squid, and then finished it off with mango with sticky rice, and homemade mango ice cream. All were tasty but the masaman was a standout. I don't understand the 1, 2 or 3 star reviews at all

Our favourite Thai in Randwick. Super friendly stuff, and an authentic menu with many dishes you won't find at every Thai. We love the sticky rice. We have been at least 5 times by now, and the food was superb each time. Highly recommended!

Cute family owned restaurant. Very well priced with large portions and the waiter was very nice and friendly. The food came out very quick and was the best Thai food I’ve ever had in Sydney. You will leave the restaurant a whole NEW person. I have been here many times and it never disappoints. I can say If you would like to get the authentic Thai, “Ummarin Thai“ is the best.
