Jeans Chilli Chicken Eastwood

Restaurants been around for a long time (>10 years at least) and the owner still works here. The chilli is really really strong so if you can’t handle the heat, best not try. Really like the seaweed salmon rice balls they have here and the owner is very accommodating eg he moved us from a further table to a more comfortable booth.

Jean's Chilli Chicken is located within the Eastwood Hotel. If you book a table then you can request to park in the hotel's carpark. The carpark has 2 Tesla chargers. Getting parking at the Eastwood Hotel is a big plus as parking in Eastwood is nearly impossible especially for Saturday lunch

Always a favourite and always so busy! We managed to get a table near the bar.

We ordered the pork belly and the famous jeans chilli chicken with cheese which was super delicious! My favourite was the pork belly! Jeans chilli chicken didn't taste spicy after eating the pork belly surprisingly!

You also get a serving of seaweed rice balls that taste delicious with the chicken! If you order more than 2 dishes, you also get access to the salad bar. It was super nice to have the salad bar, as you could add kimchi to the meat, and they also had pasta, salad and radish incase the spice was too much!

Would recommend coming in earlier around 5-6pm to beat the crowd!

We went around 7pm and it was packed! Make sure you have your ID available at the entrance. You can come through the side or through eastwood hotel. If you call in advance, you san also park your car in their carpark. If you don't have a pass, you can call when you arrive and they will let you in. Free to park too!

been back here a couple of times for their special ✨charcoal addition✨ to your typical spicy korean chicken. highly recommend the rice balls ehe - MUST TRY!

Food: Astounding. I live on steaks at venues every weekend and this was the best I've had in a LONG time. It was clean, cooked to perfection, and the side gravy was spot on. The salad was just the right amount and the perfect amount of vinegar to not drown the lower layers but still give taste to the top. I'm personally a thick-chips kinda guy, but these thin fries were everything I could ever ask for and seasoned just right as well.

The staff were bright and friendly, and it was UNBELIEVABLY fast out. Admittedly it's a non-packed Tuesday, but still faster than I expected.

The atmosphere is spot on. From the lights to the decorations to how the chairs look and the light music over it all, I enjoyed being here without a drink or meal, and it only got better after

Having lunch with all my Indonesian friends. Love all their spicy menu, chicken and pork .. Place was so cozy for dining in. Their staff is so friendly and helpful. For anyone who likes spicy food, this place is recommended.

Great Korean restaurant hidden inside the Eastwood Hotel. We had Jeans Fried Chicken (very crispy) and the Chilli Chicken (very smokey) - both were awesome. The seaweed rice balls was a fun touch for the kids. Plenty of tables with quick and friendly service. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Jeans chilli chicken does not disappoint!
The rice balls that you can make are fun and perfectly seasoned.
Self-serve kimchi, pickles, and pickled radish.
Egg roll is deceptively big, and quite heavy, recommended for 4 or more people
Tteokbokki is cooked perfectly chewy and soft.
Chicken is fried to perfection and the flavours are very nice.

Order any two main dishes will get salad bar and two bowls of rice for free, enough for three people.

Really delicious and affordable. Great variety of food for everyone with different taste buds. Absolutely impressed with the egg roll and fried chicken. Loved the sides (kimchi - chefs kiss). Highly recommend, we'll be back.

Jeans Chilli Chicken is truly is an institution in Sydney and you cannot do a trip here without experiencing Jeans famous Chicken. He once told me himself that he created the secret chilli recipe based off 3 different types of chilli imported directly from Korea. Not sure if I believe him but the chicken sure as hell will give you a blast. The general way that this goes for newbies is you'll receive your plate of chicken and each person a bowl of seaweed rice. You hand roll your balls (using the included gloves) and then cutup the chicken and eat the ball and chicken together. The side dishes are unlimited so feel free to cool down yourself on either the pickle (which personally I think works the best) or the creamy pasta salad. The place has in the recent years received a great face lift and you can tell that they really thought about the layout for the outside seating area, super convenient that it's connected to the pub so you're able to grab a few drinks and then sit down. Be warned though, this chicken will have you blasting the toilet the next day. It is 110% worth it though, give it a go!

I’ve finally tried the famous Jeans Chilli chicken and it was sensational! The foods and services were top notch!

Bbq pork - the pork is tender and well seasoned. It is quite spicy so if you can’t handle spicy foods, maybe this is not for you.

Bbq chicken + cheese - filled with big chunks of juicy chicken.

Bbq duck - boneless duck with steamed vegetables.

My favorite is the 주먹밥 (rice balls)!

They also have delicious side dishes (unlimited refills if you order the chicken).

150/100 for the service. The owner went above and beyond to ensure that the customers are happy.

This is Eastwood’s go to spot for chilli chicken! Their fried chicken isn’t bad too. They’ve done recent renovation works which has really made this spot more upmarket. On Friday and Saturday nights I would recommend booking as it can get busy.

Great sized portions, well priced, fresh and full of flavour.
While they specialise obviously in Korean Fried Chicken, there are plenty of other Korean (and western) options available.
The eel is always fantastic as is the Tteokbokki, but you cannot go wrong with the EQ honey chilli chicken either!
Smash it down with a couple of beers and then retire for some soju afterwards while in the food coma.

If everything you order is spicy, you're going to have a bad time. Cut the chicken into the rice and mix into delicious rice balls! It'll help with the spiciness as well!
Their spicy eel is amazing!

Authentic korean chili chicken, it was so nice, spicy, and hot. You can also get self-serve kimchi, raddish, mix leaf salad , pickled cucumber, and mayonaise cold pasta. The table is way better than before. You have more spaces for dining experiences. It's a good place to eat with your family and friends.

Our all time favourite. Although really hard to get a table during peak times, we did get one at the TAB area. The smoky chilli chicken is super delicious, the sauce is so unique and firey but you’d still want more.
Rice balls are delicious. Tteokbeokki is a bit average but other dishes were very good!

So yummy chicken but really spicy! Worth trying. The chopped steak was quite good as well. They have a bar on site so we could drink as well. They served Jean's Chilli Beer which was awesome!
