Must order are the HK Style French Toast with honey & peanut butter AND crispy magic of Mushroom, Chicken & Sausage Clay Pot Rice, Roasted Pork Belly & Roast Duck - that crispy skin is pure bliss! Also love the refreshing HK milktea & lemon tea. If you're after authentic Cantonese flavors, this spot is a must-try!

It’s a modern cafe featuring an array of comforting dishes such as pineapple buns, bbq pork, tomato pork chop rice, etc bursting with flavours and textures.

Canton Cafe serves up delicious Hong Kong styled food and has various locations around Sydney. I stopped by their Eastwood location where it feels like you’re in Hong Kong a little bit and the staff are fast and friendly! We got various dishes too and everything was delicious, but their duck and bbq pork and their rice rolls with soy sauce, special sauce and sesame was so good, would definitely recommend! Enjoyed a hearty lunch here :) Their portions are quite generous and the food is very affordable! We got the roasted duck and BBQ Pork for the two choices of BBQ with rice - both were so yummy! I also loved the stir fried beef and creamy egg sauce with flat rice noodles <3 For dessert, I recommend the lava custard french toast with honey and peanut butter!

Our new go to HK breakfast place! Unlike the competitors nearby, Canton has an extensive breakfast set menu with classics like instant noodles with egg and spam, pineapple bun with butter and more! If you’re looking for congee this is the place to get it, it’s much better than the competitors on the same street. The best part is that the majority of their menu is available all day, so if you don’t want their sets you can order practically anything on their menu at any time. Oh and their hot HK milk tea is excellent! 👌🏻

Authentic canto foood here!! It feels like I’m back in hong kong. Loveee the bbq pork. Price is pretty affordable - big portions too!

Food is so yum! The Pineapple bun with butter (Bo Lor Yau 菠蘿油) is amazing, best one that I have ever had in Sydney! The meal reminds me of my good times in HK, I love it! Staff are friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I definitely will be back!

staple cantonese cafe with affordable and delicious food. loved their spicy eggplant, black pepper sizzling beef, shandong chicken and bbq meats! the set comes with soup, rice and a drink.

Good food with good price for afternoon tea. Authentic Hong Kong Cafe style. Will be back for lunch or dinner at later day. Busy at the time we visited, but well managed service crew. Highly possible this could become one of my regulars.

Good Cantonese cuisine and best coffee. Delicious chicken and duck dishes too. Rice noodles are probably the best in Eastwood.

4.5/5 or borderline 5/5 because of how often I frequent this place. Their BBQ meats with rice are probably the best I’ve had in Sydney. The meat is always tender and perfectly done. My faves are the salted/special chicken with spring onion oil (sometimes you need to ask for this), the duck and roasted pork. All delicious and comes with a nice refreshing cucumber salad as a side. Bonus points for good afternoon tea specials if you come past 2 or 2:30pm. The other dishes are good too (e.g. baked tomato rice with pork chop) but have had better at other HK diners. The standout here is definitely the roasted meats.

Good food in general prefer their western/mordern style food over their traditional Chinese food. Good Hong Kong style breakfast and afternoon tea options such as instant noodles and butter with 'pineapple' bun etc!

And their HK style “cart noodles” are quite a good portion, and healthier as they try to remove MSG contents.

The laksa soup is not bad but wouldn’t say it’s authentic. Good taste though.

One of my favourite restaurant in Eastwood, they have plenty of yummy dishes to choose from anytime of the day. We’ve tried their Hong Kong style breakfast, was impressed by the chicken and mushroom congee.
Highly recommended their beef with curry for dinner, the serve is big enough for a small person to have 2 meals.
Their bbq pork is very nice as well!
Love their noodle with pork bone soup, very flavoursome and generous portion.

A nice Hong Kong Style cafe serving classic HK style dishes.

On the weekends we love to start the day with the Chinese Style Breakfast which is available daily before 12pm. For $9.90 you can choose one congee. (rice porridge) - Century Egg with Pork Fillet, Ginger Shitaki Mushroom Chicken Congee, Orlando with Preserved Vegwtable Congee or Dried Stockfiah And Peanut Congee PLUS one side of Stir Fried Flat Rice Noodle with XO Sauce , Fried Dumpling, Steamed Rice Rolls with Peanut and Oyster sauce, Deep Fried Dough Sticks 燒餅 PLUS a drink - HK Style Milk Tea, Expresso/ Soft Drink and for $0.50 extra you can upgrade you drink.

They also serve the HK Style or Western Style Breakfast.

Decor of the cafe is simple and clean. The staff a quick and friendly too.

Just be prepared to wait when it is busy on the weekends and make sure you arrive early for the breakfast deals.

Amazing food and ok pricing! Many reviews said bad service but they were polite and welcoming during my dine in experience :)

This place is exactly what you would expect if you are after Hong Kong style food! It is delicious and they have a wide variety of options for you to pick from!

Canton was one of the most pleasant restaurants in Eastwood, their service is amazing and it felt like home as everybody had called out hello and talked to us, the atmosphere was beautiful and the food tasted delicious, it was like being transported to HK in just one bite 🤞🤞I recommend the curry fish balls and the stone baked rice 🍚💪💪💪🫶 10/10
