Wow what an amazing little secret place this little Japanese restaurant is! Awe inspiring from the traditional style entrance to the traditional style seating. The menu is very traditional but oh so delicious the meals may at busier times be slow but oh so worth the wait. The Chef and his wife were attentive and friendly but not intrusive. The meals are so close to being in Japan and lip smacking and morish. This little gem is absolutely of a restaurant tucked away is the best in Perth. Dishes were simple but so authentic and perfect. Definitely will be back and highly recommended for all.

When you walk in you are greeted by a nice auntie. The interior setting of the restaurant feels like your in an noire 90’s Japanese movie, it’s got the traditional seating along the wall as well western seats.

The food is slightly expensive BUT the quality and the quantity makes this place totally worth eating at, I am surprised by the massive size of servings.

The deep fried prawn entree was made with love and diligence, the flavours entwined by the thin batter and pre warmed soy sauce was balanced in taste.

The sashimi was firm, fresh and melted in the mouth.

The other main, teriyaki chicken was massive in proportion for the price paid. It was moist/supple and was not over powered by the sauce.

The auntie that served us was friendly and pretty swell.

The only whinge is that the parking outside is Wilson, so make sure to park around the corner.

Eaten in alot of Japanese restaurants around Perth this one is my favourite. Get out of the city into the suburbs I've found them to be better

Unique dining table, friendly staff, with soft lights, almost make me forgot to say the food is delicious! One of the best Japanese restaurants on my list.

Great vibe! Was a lovely setting for a great meal. Really attentive owner and staff. Fried cutlet was beautifully crispy, and we recommend the seafood salad, something I'd not had before, but was quite delicious!

I've been dining here for over a year now. This is my favourite Japanese restaurant and the owners are very friendly and always make you feel so welcomed. Everything on the menu is delicious!

Wow! This little treasure was an absolute delight. I'm so happy we found this restaurant. The owner was the most beautiful kind hospitable lady and served amazing Japanese food, the best sushi I've ever tasted. The most amazing crispy, fresh tempura and the Udon noodle broth was flavoursome and had a perfect umami taste. Our food came out on time, and we were all so happy and satisfied. I highly recommend Cheers. Cheers! For having us.

The owner Mie is amazingly friendly and the traditional food is delicious! I highly recommend the deep fried eggplant with the home made soy and meat sauce. I'll definitely be coming back.

Mie was very friendly and accommodating.

We arrived late on a Monday night with a group of 8 and while she was about to close, she extended her opening hours to accommodate us

Food was delicious, in particular, the Nabe Udon

Delicious traditional Japanese food here! The eggplant starter, gyoza, and takoyaki are some of the best I’ve had in Perth.

Went here on a friends recommendation and it was really great! The sashimi was a large portion and was so fresh. Had the tempura also and definitely would have that again too.
My only negative is that the lighting is really bright but I can deal with that for food of this quality.

Great Japanese dishes, great service. I grabbed some takeaway which was quick, hot and fresh. Certainly one of the better Japanese in the area.

I've eaten a lot of Japanese food in Perth... this is definitely one of the best. A smaller menu than most but the flavours are outstanding.
The vibe is great too, it's cute and charming and clearly a proper family run restaurant.

Have been coming here since uni days, so around 20 years now! Quality has always been top notch and still is. Great tasting, simple, no frills Japanese food. Sashimi is always fresh, California rolls excellent, Agedashi Tofu, I think the best in town, Teriyaki dishes all so tasty, Tempura is crispy and light. Everything on the menu is really well done. Bringing my 4 yr old here now and she loves the teriyaki chicken and is spoilt by the friendly owners and wants to come every week. Always been a favourite and highly recommend it.

We just finish our meal there, my husband n myself two of us had the Cheers Special and Deep fried eggplant. We cannot be more pleased with the dishes. The sashimi is soooooo fresh, best tempura ever! The eggplant was very different, from all the eggplant we had in past Japanese restaurants, was simply the best! Definitely go back again try the sushi!

Excellent and friendly service with a super authentic fitout. The Katsudon Donburi was delicious and I’d definitely order again.
