Authentic Japanese restaurant in Eastwood. I can't believe how affordable their menu was. For a person who had lived in Japan for many years, this restaurant brings so many memories due to the authenticity of their dishes. The customer service cannot be faulted either. I wish they have a bigger space though to accomodate more families as customers.

The seafood here is always so fresh and the rice is seasoned so nicely, it hits different! Their menu has a lot of variety and their interior is super cozy it feels like Japan. I would definitely go back!

We had Oomori’s Christmas special platters at home this year and it was such a pleasing presentation and taste. Amazing sashimi and chef’s signature sushi.. also special rolls!

I’ve ordered Sashimi Platter twice so far for T/A. The quality of Sashimi is good and the staff is friendly. FYI, they are the one of very few Japanese Restaurant that opens on Monday, except for the city and big sushi chains. 😀👍🏻

We had dinner here tonight and we decided to grab the fried octopus legs and the sushi and sashimi deluxe. The sashimi and sushi were both fresh and delicate and the fried octopus was so crunchy and hot when they arrived. Extremely happy with the service and food. We cant wait to go back and eat more ☺

Comfortable setting with friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious. Ordered bento and the portion was just right. Ate everything on the plates and will definitely be back

Feb 2021: delicious and fresh food.
Teriyaki chicken was a hit, different from the usual less saucy and seared to perfection. Tender and tasty.
Special sushi rolls are large and fresh.
Deep fried calamari: crispy yet not oily tasting.
Off the menu special: typical small size sushi rolls, salmon and scallop sushi was yum pricey at $5 each.
A great Friday evening out with friends we were there for 2.5 hours and didn't feel rushed. Menu is priced well, off menu items are special and more expensive which is to be expected.
I saw a past review disparaging the quality, please ignore it. This is more of a casual well decored dine in restaurant, the overall high review is accurate but if you are expecting premium grade sushi and sashimi then Toriciya (and their high prices) is more your alley!
Tip: if you order one day in advance for takeaway and pay by cash you get 20% off.

Great Japanese food, nice selection of Sake, friendly, casual service and reasonably priced. Give this place a try! We've been a few times and really enjoyed it.

Lovely fresh food. Katsu chicken was very juicy and topped with egg and sauce. The sushi and sashimi was fresh. Staff was also friendly and cheerful.

My go to place for Japanese food 👌🏻 Their sashimi is always high quality and at this price point there is no better place. The variety is also what sets them apart.

We tried the Udon and the sushi. The Udon is good, nice and simple with good soya based broth. The sushi truly stands out. We tried their tuna belly sushi and it is amazing. At first it looks a bit funny because it is made up of a few smaller pieces of fish, especially when it cost 10 dollar a piece, but there is clear reason for this. The chief had cut out the tendon from the belly, which makes the whole thing just melt in your mouth.

Ordered 'OOMORI sashimi' for take away. Really good quality of sashimi with seasonal fish.
Reasonable price. Definitely order again soon :)

Meals are delicious, especially the wagyu set. We (a group of 10) also ordered nice udon and pork.
Can book a table in advance. Pleasant service and atmosphere. Not too crowded on the public holiday Easter Sunday when we came. Overall enjoyable experience and recommended.

This place serves great food. My personal favourites are the bentos because you get a lot of yummy food for a very good price. This is a picture of the hot pot which I absolutely loved!

Very Tasty and good portion for this Japanese place

Thanks for making my daughter's birthday extra special by preparing very delicious sushi. Guests all enjoyed the food and were asking where the food was ordered from. Obviously, we told them it was from Oomori in Eastwood. The staff were all friendly as well. Thanks again for an excellent service.

We’ve been here a few times for dinner. The staff are friendly, service is good and the food is excellent with generous portions. The sashimi platters are a highlight and keep your eyes out for their specials which seem to change regularly.
