Corfield Fresh IGA

Looking for fav NZ ice cream Polar pies which uncle google said was being sold here. So stopped in and yes they did. Found a new NZ ice cream in the process. Banana Berry and it's yum.( My opinion) haven't shared with the grandchildren yet😆😆😆

I was surprised by the quality of the fruit and vegetable selection. The quality is better, and the prices are lower than the larger stores.
The store is clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I can’t tell you how highly I view this community driven business that has an affordable option for your dinner table. It’s also cheaper to buy fresh produce then frozen or the more fast food options as they have market veggies available for cheaper then I have seen any where bar your own garden!!
Then what drove me today to put my words to paper was to say thankyou to one of their team members who was so kind to me today and meant more in that moment then she likely knew.

I was a few cents short on my shop for dinner and felt pretty mortified, when she just reached into her top pocket and said your no your good. I said no I will put something back she said no don’t even and then as I left she followed me to my car with one product I had originally put back and gave it to me.
It was not even a dollar but her kindness and non judgement was a little light in a particularly challenging and dark time for myself and my family. So thankyou to her and to this local independent business for not being another place that takes just because you can and gives back into community by not only as mentioned above but it also hires out local community youth like the lovely lass that helped me today.
Five stars isn’t enough 🙏

Went for fruit and always come out with more. Love the specials and their meat prices are the best. They make living affordable.

Their deals, particularly on meat, are really good. The fruit and vegetables are excellent and there are often great deals on. While the majority of the staff are very young they are also polite, helpful, efficient, and really know their stuff. There is a lot more produce in this place than you would imagine including some international produce, pet food, and other items - it covers most needs. Definitely a store appreciated by the locals.

While this IGA is small it is also fully staffed by humans, not self-service machines! You get served better and FAR faster than self-checkouts. It's worth supporting the shops that care more about employing people than upper managers wanting bigger profits.

Awesome. If your a kiwi and want, choc macaroons,cameo creams and all the other biscuits you can think of. They are here Yum.

Fresh produce, cheap. Fruits are super yummy. Love to go there.

Excellent place to buy fresh meat; their tomahawks and rib eyes are the best value in town. Very good specials on other cuts too.

Love shopping at Corfield Fresh IGA. Incredibly low prices on fruit and vegies apart from weekly specials on numerous items. I thank the team for helping reduce our household expenses for several items in these difficult times.

the staff are wonderful and friendly, and especially the young man named Brayden Spicer I think his name was, was very wonderful and kind and helped me to find the produce i was looking for very nice man definitely deserves a promotion

Quite good prices, friendly staff, store clean all good. And don't forget to check out the meat area, awesome selection of snags, just as you go around the first isle as you enter, and major meats at rear of store, at really great prices and quality.

The 5 stars is for Shane one of the Managers. My wife went into the store tonight just to get us some chocolate. Saw a special on and proceeded to the checkout. Once there the products scanned at over double the price. She advised the clerk they were 2.50. He was on his own and after he looked around for any help my partner offered to get the ticket to show him the price. When she returned he went on to serve someone else. She waited again and when she produced the price tag he said no that offer is finished. The date said till the 4th. Today is the 4th! He refused to honour the price and said someone should have taken the price tag down. She left and came home upset. I called the store and spoke to Shane who expressed deep disappointed to hear what had happened and said the price should have been honoured. My wife went back and got her goodies. I know it's a sounds minor but 2.50 as opposed to over 5.00 each. That's a huge saving. We shop at our IGA almost daily and support local business. Thanks Shane for doing the right thing for your loyal customers. You still have some loyal customers in us.

Awesome community Store. The butcher is hands down the best for miles. Keep up supporting the local community guys, you are part of the fabric of change.
