Ningaloo Centre

What an impressive gallery! I walked in not knowing what to expect and was completely blown away.
Not only does it covers the history of the town which was unknown to me and amazing, it covers the reef, the geology, the desert, the eco system.
I was very very impressed especially by the floor to ceiling aquarium where I could have sat for hours watching the underwater reality show unfolding in front of my eyes.
Great great job to the town that created this community hub and showcase.

We visited about a month ago and the service we received was amazing. Our Whale shark tour had been canceled due to the weather but the lady rang around and got us onto another tour before we left. Thank you so much to the team !

Great exhibits, and the AC was very cool on a hot summer day.

We really enjoyed the Ningaloo Aquarium and Discovery centre! Interesting and informative history of Exmouth with interactive displays. The cyclone room was a great experience. The aquarium was beautiful. Kids got to design a fish and see it released onto a digital aquarium which was fun. We also found the land animal displays and tanks really cool too.
Highly recommend!!

Christine was so helpful with information about the local attractions and must see Exmouth locations. Christine also booked us in with Ningaloo Discovery for a trip on a catamaran out to Ningaloo reef where we got to swim with a whale shark. A fabulous experience!

Wow wow just an amazing experience. Great mix of information and tech and physical exhibits. The aquarium was fantastic with reptiles on the top floor. Cafe is fantastic, gift shop is premium quality. Easily can kill 1.5hours looking around.

Amazing aquarium! There aren’t a lot of tanks, maybe 10. But the fish are amazing, and there’s one large tank I could sit and watch all day where the reef fish act very naturally in a way i’ve never seen in an aquarium. Amazing displays on history of exmouth as well as cave dwelling creatures and lizards. Maybe not the most interesting for younger children as there’s a lot of reading, but my partner and I had a fantastic time and spent a good couple of hours here. Would 100% recommend, this aquarium along with Shark Bay aquarium are a million times better than AQWA!

Very impressive aquarium. Worth a visit.

Spent nearly a full day at the centre, plenty to see and do. Exmouth is a great place to visit with plenty of diving, fishing, surfing, great beaches, hikes, nature and history to explore. Could stay in this region for weeks and not run out of things to do.

Great place to stop by with the kids. Nice modern building, with most importantly good air-conditioning 😉. Nice Cafe on site with great ice cream. Some nik naks and gifts for taking home, and the aquarium. Good to break up the day in exmouth.

Really cool! Came here on our last day of our trip to burn a few hours before flying out and thought it was well worth checking out. Only $20 to enter and it had some great displays, exhibits and local history. Possibly a bit boring for kids (aside from the aquarium) but still interesting. Decent sized gift shop and I saw a cafe in there too. Give it a go!

Great history about exmouth

Looks quite impressive from the outside but my expectations were low. Not huge on the inside but definitely worth a visit. The history of Exmouth section needs an upgrade. Some great community videos included but hidden on a single touchscreen on the bus. Need more screens. Aquarium and reptile sections quite small by nice.

Very awesome aquarium- they clearly love what they do and are conservation minded. Tour was efficient and informative and you're free to spend as long as you like! The food is also awesome! Would go back.

With an aquarium, history of the area with interactive displays, gift/souvenir area and a cafe, this made for a really good afternoon out.
Would recommend.

Was very informative of the history and learned quite a lot

We really enjoyed the aquarium especially all the small tanks with so many species to look at up close and the coral (or sponges) all the incredible colour they come in. The info on history of the town and other wildlife was also very well set out and informative. Would recommend a visit for anyone coming to Exmouth.

Fantastic, great value for money, everything there clearly had a purpose and a story to tell.

Great place to visit on a rainy day, plenty to see in the aquarium and displays - awesome shop as well.
