It is the only location in Australia that you can see the sunset and sunrise over water, in the same location. Can't get into the lighthouse. Beautiful views. Bring your car.

Just turn the corner drive up the hill & enjoy a fantastic view, nearly 360deg.
Not only can you enjoy the view during the day, you also have the choice of watching the sun rise or the sun set.
There are less and less places in the world where you can enjoy such a view for free, no parking fees, entry fees, or contribution to up keep fees & all they all they ask of you is to respect the significance of the site, treat it with respect and leave it as you and possibly your children found it.
The colour of the water is just amazing, it’s the sort of place where you just want to take your time and be amazed at what Mother Nature can deliver.

Gorgeous way to start the day watching the sun rise over the ocean. One of the only places you can watch the sun rise and set over the ocean.

Spectacular views. Great for sunsets and also good for a history lesson. Open day and night. Gets busy at sunset (especially school holidays) so get there early, take camp chairs or tailgate seating, snacks and drinks (drive responsibly). Can be mosquitoes and can get windy/cool depending on time of year

The best place to watch the sunset in Exmouth. Get here a little early if you want a good spot. Could also watch whales playing in the ocean everywhere you looked.

This beautiful place is situated 17 km (11 mi) to the north of the settlement of Exmouth, Western Australia, overlooking Lighthouse Bay. The lighthouse is notable as being one of the few locations in Australia where both the sunrise and the sunset can be observed

Great spot for some postcard photos! Also amazing for night photography. Be aware of mosquitoes! It can also be a little precarious on the way up and down at night since the area is not lit so a torch would be recommended but keep the light away as much as you can so we can get nice photos :)

Head here at just before sunset for amazing views. You will even see whales breaching (in season). There are some nice rock walls to sit on at the lookout. Make sure you bring some nibblies and something to drink.

Great spot to sit and watch the sunset. Get there early as it get's pretty busy but it's so worth it. Many backpackers to meet :). It often gets windy up there and there are loads of mosquitos so watch out.

Sunset joy! Amazing and beautiful spot. Good history. Stick to the bitumen. Come early for the view. Bring mosquito protection, drinks and nibbles. At the right time of year you’ll see the humpbacks in the bay just behind the surfers. Leave your drone and #besttunes because no one else wants to participate in your life story. Take your rubbish too.

The must see sunset/sunrise destination of WA, you are at the perfect height to see ocean both West and East of the lighthouse, so you get the perfect start and ending to the spiritual place Exmouth provides

Wonderful views out to the water, does not get much better than this. On a clear day you can see miles out into the ocean, with spectacular panoramic views. We even spotted some whales swimming in the waters. Suggest you bring along some binoculars. Petrol station and shop is just down the road if you need a bite to eat.

A beautiful spot to visit any time of the day (or night for stargazing)

Amazing spot for sunset. Pro tip: you'll get the best colours about 30 min past sunset, don't leave too early. Also, during whale season you'll see the golden sprays above the calm water as the sun goes down, it's quite a show. This a great spot for star gazing - nice to get a take away pizza and have your dinner here. Bring repellent - the only place in town we experienced mosquitos.
