If you're looking for some delicious pastries, both sweet and savoury, then this is the place for you!

The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. As you walk in, you'll be greeted with a wide variety of mouth-watering pastry options on display.

You can also quench your thirst with their self-serve filtered water station.

However, keep in mind that parking can be a bit of a challenge since it's only on-street parking.

Additionally, the seating area inside is limited, so most people tend to take their orders as takeaway.

By far the best croissant I’ve had in Sydney. Came fresh out of the oven with a beautiful warm and soft inside and crispy outside. Coffee was excellent too. My new favourite cafe - keen to try more of their pastries.

A wide variety of Croissants, all freshly baked and crispy. Tasted very good. Very polite and smiling staffs. Very few tables to sit, many of the customers were seen doing a take away.

Sunday is quite busy. It took me 20 mins to queue but the croissants were really deserved. Highly recommend pistachio croissant which the custard is not sweet at all The almond croissant is delicious as well.

Easy 5 stars, absolutely worth a try.
Ordered the almond croissant, sticky nut pastry, hot dog croissant and a flat white for a Saturday brunch.
Plenty of customers queuing, but the line moved quickly and the order came out quickly as well.
Pastries were excellent - flaky and crispy exteriors with warm soft and moist fillings. Rich flavour of butter.
Keen to return and try out the other pastries.

Superb. My best description of this place is a French bakery with Asian influence. Reminds me of Maison Kayser Singapore (but better) or Bread Talk Hong Kong on steroids. Highly recommended.

I know I have to go early in the morning for the most delicious croissant, but I arrived around 12. I waited in the line for about 10 mins and fortunately there was more bread left than I thought.

I tried 8 different croissant and every single one was great!

Where do I start? It’s always busy! That is a great sign of a great bakery. I would highly recommend you get a sampler pack of savoury and sweet. The pretzel croissant’s are by far the nicest.

The croissants are phenomenal. By far the best I've had. Even better than the one people rave about in Melbourne 😉

Amazing croissants! And good coffee. Situated on a busy road in five dock parking is relatively easy to find. There’s usually a small line that snakes out the door but the service is quick and they have a solid variety of croissants both sweet and savoury to choose from. There is dine in - about 8-10 seats

I bought the Spinach and Ricotta. The place can seat about 12 people and was full at that time so the staff put it in a takeaway bag. But I managed to get a table and was about to eat my croissant when the staff saw me and heated it up for me instead. It was lovely hot and flaky. I got the pistachio cube but didn't like it as the Spinach and Ricotta.

Beautifully made croissants! Light, flaky and not too buttery. Very limited seating so it’s better for takeaway. Go early before all the goodies are sold out. Coffee was average but the good quality pastries is what made me come back. Would like to try their cube croissants next time.

They have 30 minute street parking in front of the shop during day hours.

There’s usually a line on the weekends.

The interior of the shop is beautiful. Wooden. There’s a very nice and cozy feel to it. There’s very limited seating however, it looks like most customers get take away.

I ordered the normal croissant, almond croissant, coconut croissant and latte. They have pretty good coffee.

They also have a very interesting take with the almond croissant, it has cream inside. It was quite good and unique.

But IMO the highlight is their normal croissants, they have a bit of a crunch on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside.

When you have the matcha cream and custard, it’s just right very delicious and not that sweet, also the matcha latte probably the best one I’ve ever had in Sydney.

I remember when I drove past Buttercrumbs before they opened in Five Dock with my Mum and we spoke about how delicious the name sounded. The croissants are truly just as delicious!!! I wish this place was gatekept (always so busy!) but i’m so happy for the lovely family that run the place, that they are doing so well. Ham and cheese croissant has always been my personal favourite, however you honestly can’t go wrong. Good coffee too and the Earl Grey Iced Latte is also yummy. I’ve since moved out of Five Dock but whenever I am visiting home or in the area, I always make sure to stop by. Props to you guys :)

WOW. I had the lemon meringue croissant. It was incredible. The croissant was beautifully flaky with many crisp layers. The lemon curd filling was generous and balanced perfectly with the sweetness from the meringue. I will definitely come back again and try more pastries.
