Amazing feeling we had after the visit of cape leeuwin lighthouse.
We took the guided tour of the light house, and it was well worth it. Museum turned Keeper's house also worth to look at for a while.
We climbed to the point right below the light and went out onto the veranda or deck. The wind was so strong that I had to hold my mobile really firmly. The intensity was incredible. It was a wonderful tour that deserves to be experienced.

Excellent tour of the light house, with an added bonus of a wonder around the grounds as well as, a sticky beak through the light house keeps house, which is now museum.
We took the option of the guided tour of the light house and it was well worth it, being in one of the tallest light house in Australia and seeing the thickness of the walls, the number of stairs to the top, plus getting an understanding of the effort to build and support it over the years was great.
We climbed to the just below the light and went out on the veranda or deck & the wind was strong enough, to even take a young lady out of Prince Andrew’s grasp, the force was amazing & it was only a mild day.
It would be hard to believe somebody going out there in a gale.
Overall it was a wonder tour, well worth doing.

A must visit historic light house at the south western tip of Margaret river at Albany. Do visit the museum next door to the cafe to get to know about the history of the place. The views are spectacular, if weather permits you can see the two oceans meet.

The nostalgic feel of cmg again to feel the big breeze at the far north lighthouse. They have a cute little cafe and a toilet after the ticketing station. Souvenirs are beautiful there. They have now a house filled museum which is very interesting and u can find out how many lighthouse guardians there are from then till date!

Easy to find, ample parking. Very reasonable fees for entry and for the lighthouse tour. The cafe does a stellar job, with slightly limited operation. Shoutout to the male staff member who sold us tickets today. Pretty sure I talked to the same gentleman when I finished the Cape to Cape. He was friendly, helpful, and informative. The views are spectacular and there is so much history to read about. Worth a stop every time you are in the area

Tallest lighthouse in mainland Australia at 39m and stands on the meeting point between two oceans. If you’re all the way down here it’d be silly not to include this in your itinerary as there isn’t much else in Augusta anyways.
Tours are $21 for adults and run every 30min or so. There’s the option to get onto the grounds for $7.50 but only the full tour will allow you to enter the lighthouse and it’s definitely worth it. Just make sure you have some warm clothes/a windbreaker cause the winds can get pretty intense.

Amazing experience doing the tour up the lighthouse. Our guide was very informative and friendly. Had coffee and toasted sandwiches at the cafe and it was very nice. Very friendly and pleasant staff. This is a must do when visiting Augusta. Just be aware it gets very windy and can be quite cold up on top of the lighthouse.

The place where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean. This is the most south western point in the Australian continent. The tour of the lighthouse is well worth taking as it provides spectacular views over the ocean and coastline. A guide takes you on the tour and provides a very comprehensive overview of how the lighthouse has operated over its lifetime including up to the present day. However, be prepared to walk up and down 176 steps. Cost of the tour is $21 for adults.

A wonderful place to chill out. However there are lots of flies around this place. We couldn't open our mouth even to talk. We had to rush back in a short period of time from the location.

A beautiful spot at the south-western most point of Australia! I didn’t go up the lighthouse, but the view would have been stunning from the top.

Do note that there is an entry fee to support maintenance.

Meeting of two oceans - Indian and Southern - beautiful location for a stunning lighthouse. Loved visiting here and going through the keeper's cottage. The scones are superior to any previously enjoyed.

Can enter and enjoy a variety of food while sitting looking out protected from the weather by huge glass panels. Dress warmly.
Food looked ok. Cappuccino was nice. Prices seamed reasonable.
A large range of souvenirs can be purchased. Admission costs beyond this point required. See photos for ticket prices.

Cape Leeuwin is one of the five great capes of the world and is renowned for its treacherous waters. The lighthouse tour is very informative and the climb up is worth it as the views are impressive. The interactive display was fascinating and educational. The cafe was very good as well.

We had a very small group and had a really good tour with Amber. The tour was not rushed and Amber knew the whole story. The building is beautiful and in really good order. The views are amazing as is the whole story of the lighthouse. The museum is also very well done

We really loved this place and all the surrounds! Approx an hours drive south of Busselton where we were staying. The land surrounding is breathtaking. We came in late May and were blessed with amazing weather. The tour guides were lovely, very informative, & aware of their surrounds. There are something like 182 steps to climb inside the lighthouse, so ensure you wear sturdy shoes. I am very conscious of hand hygiene & wish there was more hand hygiene stations within the lighthouse itself, seeing as every single person that does a tour that day *has* to touch the handrail all the way up and down the stairs. We thought $21 for this tour was very reasonable. Proceeds all going to upkeeping the lighthouse & grounds. Bring a scarf or windbreaker as it's quite windy out on the point. Minor cafe & tourist purchases available.
