Ellis St Jetty

Just in case you need a reminder of how beautiful the region is, or if you're thinking about skipping Augusta because it's just at the tail-end and you'd rather head Pemberton ways, then you should check out the photos I took on what was a pretty average day.

Very quiet at night, clean n clear water with sea animals can be seen by eyes. Feeling peaceful. Love this jetty and will definitely go back.

A lovely jetty just down from the main street, where you can catch a boat and take a 2 hour river trip to see the huge variety of birds that inhabit the islands and land around the Blackwood River. There are free public toilets and free parking.

Nice and calm place with river view. Good place to fishing. Boat hire also available this place.

Nice old jetty in Augusta. Try and catch the black bream that swim under it.

Good place for fishing

Good jetty for fishing and boat launch ramp. I would not categorise this as a 'tourist attraction' but rather a place one may go to when in the area to view the river, fish or to launch a boat. I would not travel here as an attraction but it is certainly a pleasant environment once there.

If it's windy out, then this place is probably your best bet for fishing. Whiting caught at time of review we're small, although did manage to snag a little snapper (undersized though)

Great place to come down and hang out with friends and family. You come fish and swim here. They also have public restrooms here that seem to be open 24 hours. Great place to look at the stars at night time as well.

Saw dolphins! Keep an eye out for a seagull with some fishing line around one of its legs. Reported it to a wildlife hotline (3/12/21) but wasn’t able to do anything at the time unfortunately because I couldn’t catch him :(
